Was Maidana a better opponent than Bradley, Algieri, and Rios?

The jmm win alone trumps anything maidana has done at WW.

He beat Manny Pacquiao now? :rofl:nut:lol::lol: I thought Pac was robbed?
Ruslan is a 140 pound fighter. And a non-title holder at that.
JMM had only won a single fight at 147 in his career at that time. (KTFO 6!) A 40 year old blown up lightweight and it was a very close bout.

And the great Abregu...... :rofl https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_3kZG6iQVg (Highlights from the last fight of Bradley's great win at 147)

Just stop with this Bradley at 147 stuff. Maidana is more proven. And if the Provo fight is any indication, Maidana would maul Bradley like he did Broner.

I don't think Bradley beats Broner. Just IMO, since you guys keep dissing the man I figured I'd mention that too.

He is no worse than Diego Chavez whom Bradley just drew with. Bradley would have problems with his size, pressure and power. Bradley's best chance would be for Maidana to get too tired to chase him. So, until proven otherwise, the Maidana we've seen of late is even money (if not far behind) Bradley.

He's flat out better than Rios and he would probably KO Algeri.

Yea.... and Pacquiao is even smaller. That's why he did better at 122-130.

JMM is shot to bits that's why he wouldn't rematch Pac.

Styles make fights. All this theory bull**** is nonsense.

Mayweather easily beat JMM. JMM is put on a pedestal because he knocked out a front foot left hand happy fighter.

Bradley is bigger than pacquiao. If ever floyd fought the same bradley that pac fought, it would be floyd's best win at the weight. Undefeated, prime and a top p4p fighter.

    Agreed.

People somehow underrate Maidana a lot.

He may not be as quick on his feet like Pacquiao or have defensive mastery like Mayweather Jr..

But Maidana has his own strengths and advantages.

    1. He is a power puncher who successfully pressures opponents

    2. He has an awkward style that will frustrate most fighters (including Floyd) because he smothers them with both looping punches AND straight punches. Just watch his fights very closely.

And plus after being under the coaching of Robert Garcia,
Maidana has now improved his jab, distance control in footwork, head movement, feints, etc etc.

Maidana is a better version of himself compared to say a decade ago because of this.

How much bigger? They're the same height...

Their fight night weight in the rematch...
    Pacquiao: 151
    Bradley: 152

This is just another attempt at Fl0m0s to further exaggerate Floyd's opponents.

    Fl0m0 logic
    Maidanas > Bradley, rios, algeiri

    Then it must means

    Floyd > Pac

Never mind the fact that floyd pulled jmm up two divisions and still cheated him off the scales. Bradley fought and schooled a memo heredia enhanced marquez.

You keep saying Pacquiao is Bradley's win, he lost both of them  his best win is Marquez.
