Was Maidana a better opponent than Bradley, Algieri, and Rios?

    Marquez, bradley and pacquiao are not top guys at WW and yet josesito lopez and broner are? Lol

    Newsflash: most guys plying their trade at WW now are from 130-140, two to five years ago.

    Hilarious to me that now Maidana is this A fighter after two losses to FMJ. I remember when the first fight with Floyd was made how everyone was complaining because Maidana wasn't all that great and could be out boxed...

    Now... He's this amazing fighter... Maybe people should ask themselves about this train of thought... And if it's that he was so good to begin with, or just gave an aging fighter a good fight.

    These flom0s are ridiculous. Victor would be saying that ortiz and guerrero are the top WWs while guys like cotto, clottey and margarito are shiet when the WW division was waxing hot back in 2006-2009 when floyd retired.

    He was never that good, just gave an aging fighter a good fight. He pulled out all the cards. Definitely not A class or elite, but currently should be rated higher than Algieri, about the same as Rios, and below Bradley.

    Margarito was shot and mentally damaged when Pac fought him.



    Clottey got paid off to do nothing. He didn't even throw a punch in that fight.



    And let's not forget he only got the courage to fight Roidsley after he got schooled by Mayweather.

    Pac only got the courage to fight Roidsley after Floyd schooled him.


    The Joke Coach always said Pac should avoid Roidsley. He's too dangerous.

    I Remember Jim Lampley basically call the fight a joke, I'm no fan of lampley but his mind was the mind of many. Maidana beat baby Floyd, the only reason he got the fight. He made the most of it and put on a hell of a performance.

    Styles make fights, he did what I feel you have to do to win against Mayweather. Give him constant pressure, never give him a chance to control/set the pace. Even then it wasn't enough, he made it close. Trying to outbox mayweather always ends in a one sided affair. With that said Maidana has never been this top list a fighter, but I feel he's better then rios and Algieri. Bradely I would put above Maidana,but I would love to see them fight.

    The difference is Cotto wasn't shot like Rodisley and it was at 154.
