You are talking about a system not a person. Floyd's system is great. Floyd's cross guard and shoulder roll is great. Against good southpaws he has been forced to out work them because his defensive system does not work. I don't see that working with Manny.

There is a problem with the uppercut that you've overlooked. Pacquiao will have to get close enough to Mayweather in order to land that punch. That means he'll have to get by the Mayweather jab and right hand. Not gonna happen. Besides that, Mayweather has an excellent uppercut of his own and Pacquiao has shown poor defense for this punch in the past...

But it's still a system. He is the beat at system A. System B not so much. The shoulder roll is a system. The high guard is a system. Just because someone is o e of the best ever using system A does not mean they are equal or close to equal using system B. There is nothing in the tape that says Floyd's high guard is very good. In ten pages no Floyd**** has actually been able to point out how Floyd's high guard is any good. Film don't lie. Floyd's high guard is very very basic. Yes he can put the earmuffs up but that is about it. The body movement, the arm movement, the tightness, the trip counters arw not there. There is nothing to his high guard beyond just the stance. It's amature at best.
