Actually I would rate Judah's uppercut above Pacquiao's.

BTW, didn't Judah get soundly beaten by Mayweather?

It's not a question of quality they are two totally different uppercuts. Judah's was a close range off the back foot counter. Manny's is a front foot coming foward mid range shot.

This is a fair point. Judah also had the leaping uppercut coming out of a crouch, not that he would have ever hit Floyd with it, just a remark.

Yes, Judah's uppercut is a very good counter. He's caught lots of guys flush with that shot..

You really should get in touch with Freddie Roach and make him aware that you have the solution to Floyd's defence (in particular Floyd's amateurishly poor high guard) . That would allow Manny to blast Floyd out of there Hatton style.

I tell you what Windy mate, nothing is impossible, so why don't we agree to disagree and come back to this thread after the fight?

Yes, a shot which he doesn't use behind a jab and a shot he has ZERO chance of catching Floyd with.

Funnily enough, I have just scrolled through the most recent posts, expecting to read sorts of bat sh!t crazy stuff (punctuated with a heavy dose of insults) from the TS... only to be astounded that he is now in fact offering some sound ana!ysis.

At the risk of setting him off again , I wonder if it has occurred to Windigo that perhaps the illusion of Floyd possessing a high guard (which is almost certainly the most basic form of defence) is simply that, an illusion? And maybe the reason why Floyd does not appear to be as proficient at performing such a basic defence is simply because he uses it in the manner which is most advantageous to him?

I mean, love him or hate him, Floyd Mayweather is undoubtedly a defensive genius with an extremely high ring IQ.. It is surely safe to assume that he knows more about any method of defence then all of us put together?

I think he probably just got frustrated that people focused on ridiculing him for the ****ogy instead of addressing his thread. Incidentally I think he's right about the ****ogy. I played tennis at a very high level and don't believe for a second that Usain Bolt would have better court coverage than Djoko or Rafa if he just picked up a racket today.

    :thumbsup

Those are all sound points. Having said that, for all the TS knew, Bolt could have played baseball regularly (but we'll not start that sh!te up again eh? ).

The thing is though mate, as you know, once someone resorts to hurling insults, they are inviting ridicule..... and it is usually deserved.

Just noticed I hit 1,000 posts. I was hoping to move up from Contender, oh well. I also haven't been here long enough to have posted 1,000 times. I need to stop spending so much time here
