    NO... very shallow comparison

It would akin to Hagler moving up to cruiserweight, dominating some of the top cruiserweights (as Pac dominated Cotto, Marg,DLH and more) then having a KO loss to Sugar Ray Leonard (a rival who also moved to cruiserweight), in their 4th fight. Assuming Hagler fought SRL 4 times (as Pac fought JMM) and had wars with him, then in 4th fight, he's beating SRL but runs into a punch. THEN, Hagler rebounds and dominates 3 cruiser weights (as Manny dominated 3 welters) and gets back in form. He's 36 and now ready to face the top cruiserweight who's considered P4P best.

SO... this is a more worthy comparison...

Aside from Tyson just calling him a scared little man and declaring Floyd isn't nearly as great as he thinks he is, Floyd is in trouble vs Pac.

    MOVEMENT.
Pac's in and out, side to side, is going to cause Floyd all sorts of problems. Floyd is used to guys coming straight in, he's not used to all this bouncing around, Pac will fluster Floyd and PAC WILL DICTATE THE PACE based on this. Floyd won't be able to "control" Pac. I've been watching both of their recent fights, and some old ones, and its Pac's movement that overwhelms opponents, they can't get set at all. The movement pac does will make floyd want to run but it won't matter. Floyd's only chance I think is to catch Pac and KO him, you're really only going to beat pac by going through him, not backpeddling or laying on the ropes with all these crazy angles pac comes in from and just when you think he's bouncing back out, he nails you with a straight. Young Floyd may have been quick enough to deal with this, but this Floyd, no way. He has to KO pac to beat him. Floyd may end up quitting.

Like I've been saying (with the exception of Singsurat and Torrecampo in the early days) nobody has beaten Pac without risking big time. I don't think Floyd will risk anything to get to Pac because that is not who he is, I believe Pac's footwork, work rate and stamina will give Floyd tons of trouble. I don't know who is going to win but at a minimum Pac will give Floyd a lot more trouble than Cotto and Maidana did in the rounds they were successful.

lol at "not used to all this bouncing around".

You're right though, Floyd is getting beat up.

In Australia, Sportsbet claim 3/4 of the bets they are taking on the fight are for Pacquiao.

But in big events like this people tend to be with their hearts not their heads.

although Pac has not been ko'ing people I think he might put Floyd out for the count in this one. that or Floyd might quit.

    :deal

That is why I think this is a 50/50 fight.

We have not seen Mayweather fight someone who uses all sorts of awkaward angles who throws fast combos and has fast legs.

I would like to think that Pacquiao has a slight edge based on overall experience and style, but Mayweather can always resort to "old faithful" and pot shot his way to a very boring UD, who knows he might employ his other weapon he is now mastering, "clinching".

And I'm not a fan of Pac either, I think there's been a few greater fighters than both Floyd and pac the last 10-15 years. I won't lose any sleep if Pac loses, but I don't like floyd and why I'm going for Pac in this one.

Didn't you recently say that this is a pointless fight?

    What's your point?

And I'm sure I said that this fight is 6 years, 5 years, 4 years, and even 3 years too late... But I guess, better late than never right? Some fauking p4p champions right there eh?

Why am I seeing people predicting Mayweather will quit?

Not aimed at you directly, I'm just curious as to what makes people think that someone who is unbeaten in nearly two decades and overcome all adversity he's faced will suddenly quit?
