According to an article, Mayweather has been injecting both his hands with Xylocaine to help numb the pain. He has injured his hands awhile back. A source from his camp has been quoted on saying this has given him advantage on numerous occasions and he wouldn't be surprise if he used it on Saturday. Do you think he will be using this against Manny? Is this why he runs more than he punches?
This is all old news. His brittle hands are the reason he uses fluffier gloves and hasn't had a KO in years. The reason he only fights in Vegas is because Xylocaine isn't banned there (except within a certain amount of days before the fight, or on fight night I think).

Xylocaine is legal in a lot of states this idea that it's only allowed in Vegas is a myth. Also it is banned for use in LV in the 2 weeks leading to the fight, so he can't use it during the fight.
No - I know he's not allowed to use it on fight night. In one of the really old 24/7s it showed that he has his hands massaged and dipped in some soothing solution prior to the fight so that they don't bother him on fight night.
I know its legal in several states, but I think its banned in NY and Texas. Those along with Vegas are probably the main states where they'd want to stage a match.
