interesting, had no clue Manny was weighing 145+ in some of his 130 lbs fights on fight night. Looks to me like Pac is more of natural WW than people think. I mean, he was coming on heavier than Floyd when both were fighting in 130 lbs division

I think his background of poverty had a lot to do with his weights early on.

Floyd couldn't even make 144 for his catchweight fight against jmm 5/6 years ago. Pac has made at most 144 or lower in at least 5 of his WW and JMW fights.

    Floyd: "I'm a big WW".

Difference between not caring about making weight due to your ego, and. Not being able to. He didn't look even a little drained at that weigh in.

At WW they're the same size.

While I appreciate the work that went into the original post, I think that do to other missing data and factors OP has still come to the wrong conclusions. Pacquiao is smaller than Mayweather. Smaller guys can weigh more than bigger guys because there is no one weight for a body type and we can generally make it fluctuate by tens of pounds, depending on diet and exercise.

For example, here is a composite photograph of the actor Christian Bale in eight different movies, in a variety of conditions and weights ranging from 55kg to 90kg.

The human form is plastic. Which means that 6'1" Tommy Hearns could fight from Welterweight to Cruiserweight with the bone structure of a Light Heavyweight.

My opinion, based just on the average measurements of the champs in the day of the fight weigh ins era. Pacquiao's best weight would be 135-140 and Mayweather's would be 147-154.

They are not far off in weight but Floyd is obviously the bigger guy, unless you compare their heads, then it's Pac hands down.

Since when did floyd weighed 144 or below for a WW fight? Pac regularly weighs 144 or below even now at WW. He even weighed 144 for the margarito fight which was at JMW.

A small WW like pac can easily make 144/143 or even 140. Floyd regularly weigh in at 147 or a few ounce close to it.

Floyd said it best, "pacquiao was surprised to see that I'm a big WW."

Maybe Floyd isn't good at weight cutting, I mean he has never really weighed a lot more on fight night than he has at the weigh in.

Pacquaio body is used to cutting weight was 130 lbs at the weigh in for Morales and went up to 144 lbs, Was 135 lbs against Daiz and 147 lbs in the ring.

On the night though they are the same weight, Pacquaio having the ability to cut down to lower weights such as 140 lbs or possibly 135 lbs but on the night of the fight he would be 147 lbs +, which is the same as Floyd.

Does he have to eat up to 145 lbs? He has weighed that in the ring against Morales at 130 lbs and came into the ring at 144 lbs and Diaz at 135 lbs he came into the ring at 147 lbs both fights that he didn't need to be that heavy but seems when in shape and fully hydrated even years ago he was 145-148 lbs.

Fight night weights are unofficial. They are words of mouth and you could not confirm them. Heck, some are weighed with cloths and/or gloves on.

The real measure is the weign in. And a small WW like pac or jmm doesn't really need to try to cut to weigh low. They are naturally small. Pac even needs to eat more to prevent getting too low from 147. Pac is at 143 right now but they are planning to weigh around 146 on the weigh in.

At 29, Morales was said to have reached past his prime. At WW, pacquiao, 36 y/o, a veteran of countless wars and more than 60 fights, just got KTFOd three years ago, and fighting bigger and stronger men (including a hulked Marquez), is being expected to fight like superman. lmao.

These *****s will latch on to anything just to cry PEDs.

You guys know fight night weight is unofficial and fighters can choose to wear clothes and shoes for the fight night unofficial weigh in?

If all that matters to size is the weigh in then floyd and manny are the same size and everyone should stop complaining that one is bigger than the other. It's all just bragging rights from either side so they can make their guy look better, WHO CARES! Supposed to be grown men, just enjoy the fight fan girls!
