Exactly what i said. You picked the bookies favorite then boasted about your prediction. There was poor odds on both fighters. Who gives a fack what you considered.
How much did you put on Wlad to win?

You really are rather ignorant, aren't you?

Where did I state that Haye was ever favourite??

Wlad was an 8/13 favourite, which was due entirely to the amount of money that was put on Haye (Haye ended up being an 11/8 chance). Try doing some research, because Haye clearly received plentiful support at the bookmakers, or he would not have been such a short price.

As I considered Wlad to be at least a 1/10 chance, why would I not consider 8/13 to be outstanding value??

And how could no-one make any money backing Wlad at 8/13? You do understand what 8/13 means, don't you??

The fact is that it is clear that you know as little about sports betting as you do boxing... Please do back up your talk with a little action (for once) a lifetime ban bet with me that Wlad beats Fury... I would love to be the one responsible for finally getting rid of you!!

I put 26 grand on and received 42 grand back.

But like you said, no-one could make any money by backing either fighter, right?? :nut

Listen, no more bs, just agree to a lifetime ban bet (I pick Wlad to beat Fury) then we can cone back to this after Wlad puts Fury in his place.

Better yet, offer me some odds on the fight and we can meet up and have a decent wager between ourselves.

You would risk half a million, but not your ESB account? :think....

To be fair, I would be sad to see the back of kovalevtheGoat.

Correct, ESB is rather more important.

    Of course you did.:nut

You knew a massive amount of money would have to be placed on odds of 8/13 to make a significant return and thats why you came back with that bullshyt

There you go, judging others by your own limitations!! It's not my fault that such a wager is far beyond your comprehension.

The fact of the matter is that many others undoubtedly had far larger bets on. But I guess your fiver on Betfreds Goals Galore coupon is the extent of your gambling (not criticising you for that, it shows that you aren't as dumb as your posts lead others to consider you to be). If that is indeed the case, how are you expected to comprehend such wagers?

And were someone happy to win merely a tenner, all they had to do was put £17 on Wlad and they would have collected £27 and change back.

You really do not have a clue about sports betting, do you?

Anyway, are you agreeing to a wager or not?

Betting 26 grand is not beyond anybody's comprehension , its just not within reason to most sensible people.

Not having the stupidity to put down 26 grand on a fight , does not mean nobody knows anything about sports betting. I know a guy who lost 20 grand betting on Price to beat Thompson.
You either really did put down 26k or you're a liar after you got found out.
I'll take your ban bet. Come back to me fight night.

Kind of like a poster claiming he owns nightclubs around the world.. you have shown not to be a sensible person with all your picks.

    :happy It's agreed.

To be totally honest , I am a ****ing idiot who has been a gambling addict for years. And I shudder to think of just how much I have blown over the years. ****ing horse racing is my downfall.. But I have been known to land some decent sports wagers (including Wlad to beat Haye) and I do okay on the NFL (I had a very successful season last year..unfortunately, the NFL season is only 22 weeks long and the profits were gone by March).

But if you ever want to try and prove me to be a liar, please let me know if you're ever in Newcastle... I will take you to several bookmakers who can attest to my recklessness and downright stupidity.
