Stop looking at the variables like opponents in the far past, how they looked like during one public training session (do you really think they're going to show the level they're really at to the public?) and what they're saying and look at what we know for sure. Keep it simple, Mayweather is the bigger guy. He is taller, has a longer reach and is generally bigger than Pacquiao in most ways, but Pacquiao is slightly younger and is a southpaw. Forget previous opponents, guy A could destroy guy B. But guy A could struggle with guy C who guy B easily beat. Certain things cause certain people problems. Just because Mayweather outclassed Marquez and Pacquiao got stopped by him doesn't automatically mean Mayweather will make easy work of Pacquiao. As a prediction I believe during the early rounds people will think Pacquiao has found the "blueprint". I think he will land more than anyone previously during the first 1-4 rounds. I think Mayweather will allow Pacquiao to get him on the ropes in the early rounds in an attempt to counter the fighter he regards as reckless. When he realises this won't work he will start to take over the centre of the ring, by this time I think he will have adapted to the type of punches Pacquiao is throwing, such as combinations and the speed they're coming at and will use his size, longer reach and experience to drag out a decision. This is just my opinion of course, I just genuinely think people think too deeply about things.

You don't put a clinic on Pacquiao. He will make it his fight and come out punching even if he takes 2 to get his 1 punch.
