this is just speculation. i heard hbo is pushing to move malignaggi out of the commentating panel. maybe showtime countered to move lampley out too. so lampley "hey, im not a hater, i picked floyd to win".
Many people predicting a Mayweather decision win are people that think the way I do as regards the fight. Manny Paquaio faces a heavily stacked deck tomorrow night. Those people want to be proved right so they pick Floyd to win. I'm certain Floyd has never really wanted this fight ever. Manny & Freddie had to concede to all Floyd's demands to get him to fight at all. I don't think Floyd's finished yet he'll still find fault with something I Hope I'm wrong & it ends up a level fair fight with the legitimate best man on the night getting the win.
That's not what Lampley said. Lampley said that out of 100 fights, Mayweather wins 100 times. And the point is, that as the fight draws near, all the haters, the ones who said Mayweather is scared, he's a punk, Pac has God on his side, and other irrational reasons Pac will win, are having to concede that Mayweather is going to spank Pac's butt and send him home to the Philapines in a box.
All that ship nonsense is absolute baloney at its worst. Being a fan of someone doesn't mean you're a goat that loses his brain when it's time to predict. Logic and sensibility should always prevail over heart regardless of how much one passionately supports anyone.
