Floyd fans - What makes you root for him?

With him being such a POS, what actually makes you root for him? Are you the type of guys that were cheering for Creed to beat Rocky too? Seeking genuine responses. I'm not even a Pac fan (routed for Bradley and Algeiri to beat him) but cannot fathom why anybody would want such an abhorrent character who is a clear favourite to win other than nationalism and/or racism.

If by opinionated you mean having an opinion, I guess you're correct. Obviously I'm not twigging on to what your alluding to, so please help me and elaborate on your accusation.

 

You called him a POS and inferred that anyone rooting for him must be either a nationalist or a racist. Of course you are entitled to your opinion but those opinions seem pretty severe to me. I personally don't care for Mayweather outside of the ring but the abuse he gets from some people make me root for him because I think it is overdone.

Well somebody who has multiple convictions of beating up women and has been documented as racist. If that was your neighbour and not a superstar would you not consider them a POS?

I was clear in my post that I actually can't find another reason why people would root for him other than nationism or racism. The point of this thread was for people to tell me otherwise. That's hardly being opinionated, is it? :roflatsch
