This is the big leagues. That's why. His toughest fight was Diego Corrales. This is a whole other world for Floyd.

Pacquiao is declined now, but he's still the best fighter he's ever been in the ring with.

Pacquiao has gone in with prime versions Barrera, Marquez, Morales and he even lost to Morales. So he has no reason to be afraid.

All the pressure is in Floyd. Pac is totally relaxed. If Pac hurts him early Floyd may not be able to recover, although I suspect Bayless will step in and give Floyd some time, accuse Pac of a foul or something.

Exactly. Pacquiao has faced so many great fighters that there's pretty much nothing left for him to do in boxing.

The only difference to many fights is that it won't be a repeated pattern of merciful, biased officiating. I've seen referees change their minds about initially giving someone breathing room before. Sometimes they even watch their own butt and react harshly to a foul on the other side of the action, when there had previously been a questionable call. I hope he lets them fight.

Floyd, like the great Mike Tyson has bitten off more than he can chew.

maybe memo;s medicine aint working they way they are supposed to.

if memo says this would make you jump 20ft higher and i cant, id be worried too.

no surprise they tried to mess with pac gloves too.

Floyd's been calling himself the best ever for over a decade and now he has to back it up.

It's scary and intimidating. Everything is on the line. Everything.

ariza was on floyd's camp. conditioning routines he designed for pac, most likely were tried by floyd himself.

if ariza says, pac does this conditioning for 5 mins and floyd does it for 10, it's devastating from the conditioning point.

it could also be a big morale booster if it;s the reverse.

i think floyd at this point knows where he is at in terms of conditioning, the physical aspect of the fight, vs. pac.

in other words, floyd already feels he could win the fight decisively or lose badly even before the fight starts, just because ariza is with him.

all we can really is speculate on what is out there. and what is out there, is floyd chopping woods, swimming, this sub-zero revovery stuff and that he will ko pac. then contrast this to how he acted with the few media apperances he had.

    it;s really puzzling.

Not entirely true, I think Mayweather-DLH was equally as big in terms of legacy at the time. Of course today we look back at it and it doesn't seem to be a big deal, but at the time it was huge.

Stupid fukk, how is a guy he fought at 135, his tougest fight when he's fought at 154...Everybody Mayweather has fought since moving up to 147 or higher beats Corrales, besides Henry Brussels.

Nobody cares about Barrera or Morales who's best weights were like 126.

People seem to forget this. That was a huge fight for Mayweather and secondly it wasn't a fight that everyone thought he would win.

Paquiao is Floyd's first and most dangerous opponent. Paquiao is shot, but still better than anyone else Floyd has faced.
