    A win is a win.

Besides, with McCord having been decked several times en route to his PTS4 loss, Sutcliffe has still after tonight stopped or at least dropped every professional opponent. Not too shabby.

great night in dublin...sutcliffe looked superb...so strong...he has the ability to go all the way... he now needs a big promoter with tv backing to take him to the next stage of his career:good

Hopefully Magee gets him on a few cards in England, even just if he's knocking journeymen out, get his name out there. Then a European title tilt in the stadium around Christmas which would really make the public would sit up and take notice. THEN when Eddie comes back to Dublin in 2016 (when Jono Carroll and Luke Keeler have been built up a bit more) Sutcliffe would be a perfect co-headliner

Quiggs could be a big thing in boxing. He has all the tools, from what Ive seen of him. Lovely combos. Just so long as he doesent get caught up in the hype of being a big devastating 'ko' puncher. Because I dont believe he is really such a very hard hitter at all. He should stick to the boxing and he will be alright.

Could Brian Peters and Hunky Dorys be tempted back? Would be tough for Sutcliffe to get as popular as Dunne, and even then Dunne had Lee, Duddy, and Macklin (to a degree) backing him up. A promoter (Most realistically Cyclone, if and when they decide to expand down south) would need a decent stable to make a serious stab at it. Sutcliffe obviously, then you can add in Collins Jr on name alone, McCarthy's a good talker too, and perhaps even Barnes and Conlan if they turn over after Rio with medals in their pockets

Peters definetly wont come back with Suttcliffe,Magee and peters have history since the kiko dunne era and sutcliffe senior screwed him over with willie casey
Peters got casey the prozefighter shot, his next fight that got him into the euro rankings then his euro shot,Willie was signed to a three euro fight deal with peters, willie was due to box kiko in dublin but the "world" shot came up dolphil went with that AND totally cut peters out, that was the last time peters was seen around the irish circuit,

Wasn't at the fight, were you? How'd he look? A tight majority decision win against someone like Lewis Taylor might suggest that he needs a few more fights and camps with Fitzpatrick before he's ready to challenge for World Titles. Although if Hyde and Hassan come calling it would be hard to say no

O'Kane will never be remotely near world level. He has the dedication, fitness, impressive physique lots of positives etc but he just isnt a great boxer. He just isnt. He hasnt got real top-level talent, and nothing can fix that.
