Yup. It's a real good vs evil batttle here

Lets hope Manny is more apologetic for watching roosters rip one another to shreds in the name of "entertainment", and equally apologetic for cheating on his wife

What a pair of brave, honourable men

At least one truly honourable warrior brought one of these "brave" men his long overdue karma

Nothing would make me happier than if Pac KO'd Floyd after giving him a beat down. But like most here I predict Floyd will win.

My ****ysis is quite simply "what ever JMM can do, Floyd can do better". There's always a danger of oversimplification in such an ****ysis, since no fighters are identical. Perhaps it's just that JMM has Pac's number in a way that no other fighter has. That Pac's particular rhythm fits Marquez perfectly to dance along with, and that it won't come as natural to any other fighter today.

Could be, but I just find it more likely that Marquez's skill set, especially the perfectly timed right, is something that would trouble Pac in any fighter that possesses it. Barrera was about as good a counter puncher as Marquez, but was more of a left hooker. Same with Cotto, another skilled counter puncher. It's the straight right that really troubles Pac, as Morales also showed.

And Floyd has an even more lethal straight than Marquez, in that it's at least as well timed but faster, longer and more powerful. I just can't see how Pac will manage to take away that right, seeing how he failed to do so in four tries against JMM.

So I think Floyd will counter Pac as he comes in, especially with the straight right but also the left hook, and slow the pace down as he always does - pecking his way to a decision. A KO could be the result if Pac throws caution to the wind in the latter stages and gets caught doing so.

Hope I'm wrong, but this is what I imagine will happen.

Pac is much quicker of both hand and feet than anyone Mayweather has ever fought. However I remember that Marquez was able to school him at times via smart boxing. Pac opens strongly in this fight and he might win 2 out of the first three rounds as Mayweather plays a waiting game. Then Floyd starts To pot shot especially with his right. Pac then can't come in with abandon fearing that right. After the first 5 rounds it's all Mayweather and he is leading 6-3 in rounds when a well timed right ends the fight. Mayweather via 10th round TKO..

Truth is, this is a huge fight and we're all enjoying getting caught up in the hype a bit, but I can't help feeling this fight has lost its significance ever since Pacquiao got iced by Marquez.

Could happen, but I don't think Pac will throw caution to the wind that early. If he's clearly behind in the latter stages, which I expect him to be, he'll probably start taking chances, though. And of course Floyd can capitalize on that.

If it had happened before the third Marquez fight, it would certainly be more exciting. Back then I felt that Pac stood a good chance of winning.

This fight will be closer now than in 2008 or whatever.

That Pac wades in too open and gets caught. As I said, nothing I expect early on, but you never know. If you're fighting a bigger opponent that's a very skilled counter puncher you always take a risk coming in. And since I don't expect Floyd to go after Pac, Pac is going to have to take that risk.

There's literally Nothing Floyd could do to top what Juan did

Juan also half ruined Manny, so even if Floyd gets him out of there and people will always say Manny was coming off JMM4

Thats not my nut hugging, thats just what it is

Juan's taken a ton of shine of any potential Mayweather victory

You definitely have a point here, but who are you arguing against?
