Both Michael Buffer and Jimmy Lennon Jr in the house?

    Has this happened before?

Cool. So there will be showtime and let's get ready to rumble.

For the thousands in attendance, and the billions watching around the world.

Funny, I was thinking this. If it goes to decision, the winner could be announced by their network. Floyd - Showtime, Manny - HBO

Ive been at ringside many times over the years & seen both in action. Both are good announcer with good catchphrases.
The thing that sets Jimmy apart is he is the consummate announcer. Talks to fighters & trainers before fight to make sure he pronounces their names properly & gets records etc right.
Mike reads from a cheat sheetoccasionally
I'll never forget him years ago in Ft Worth Tx when he welcomed everyone to a " "Night of Professional Championship WRESTLING" Then made another slip by introducing Paulie Ayala' as The NABF HEAVYWEIGHT champ. Not a good night for Mike. Both are nice guys though

Buffer's great, but he'd always make me cringe everytime he'd pronounce Erik Morales wrong, with double rr, "morrales", which means "sac or bag", in Spanish.

IF I remember rightly, Buffer and Lennon Jr. were both used as announcers at the Tyson-Lewis fight, Memphis 2002.

    Just rewatched the press conference.

Jimmy Lennon Jr looks shot, way past prime.

Michael Buffer was not too far away from his prime, I think he'll edge it tonight.

I just saw the introduction. Both men will announce their own boxer, and Lennon will start shouting it's showtime first before Buffer shouts 'let's get ready to rumble'.
