You have someone who was born into a boxing family, carefully nurtured and tutored in the ways of boxing from when he could walk, and was born in the richest country in the world, against a man who became someone from a 3rd world country with all the associated malnutrition and deprivation that comes with it, who became a man at age 14 working construction to provide for his family, and didn't start boxing until then. If Manny wins, it would truly be a magical moment for the people and the downtrodden.
I'd be really happy for him...then for it to be ruined by him ranting on about how god gave him victory... Either way I think tonight we will be gifted with a real REAL nice boxing display. No matter who the winner. This ain't Rios, Guerrero, Ortrees, Maidana, Algieri or drained hyped Canelo.
RJJfan, whats up man. I am saying this hand in my heart, it would be the best moment of my life if Manny won.
Pac is a good guy out of the ring as well, as a person he's so much better than Floyd. I want him to win because I like him better as not only a fighter, and as a person. But at the end of the day that doesn't really matter. The better man will prevail tonight.
its the stuff that great men and great stories are made of. the struggles and obstacles he had to overcome as a man, a christian, a statesman, a scholar, and most notably, as a boxer, make the level of success he has achieved in all areas, so much more improbable...especially when you consider that he started at the back of the pack in every tough race. he is a hero for the ages.
Pac is the good guy in this...Mayweather is the throwback boxer. It's up to Floyd to make it good for the fans or not. It could be so fun, or rather boring aside from the hype leading up and anticipation before the bell.
Whats up dude, hope life is treating you right. Yeah, it would be an affirmation that every now and then, sometimes, a miracle does happen.:good The better BOXER will prevail, not always the better man. Indeed. :good
You guys put to much emotional energy and emphasis on two other men. Your life won't depend on Who ever wins or looses. Is just boxing. I never seen so many grown men living in a fairy tale world.
