I didn't give a **** about the undercard TBH. And I said that on this board a month ago. This was the only fight where main event was all I cared about. And it went exactly like I expected. Because I'm not some overnight fan. This went like I expected just like Floyd/ODLH fight went like how I expected. So no I wasn't disappointed. I'm glad the answer to who is the better fighter has been put to rest.
All the casuals in my Facebook and Twitter are more or less saying that this fight is the reason why UFC > boxing.
What fight, all I saw was one guy running, clinching, leaning over and over on the back of the other fighter, then one guy being aggressive trying to make a fight, landing the only punches that mattered. Did Floyd stop Pac from making a fight...hell yes. And that is boxing now?
it wasn't a bad fight at all, it was a decently entertaining fight. The problem is expectations were high as s h i t.
Backfoot boxing at it's best. Mayweather made Pac-Man look ordinary. Never underestimate just how hard it is to fight going backwards.
It wasn't even slightly entertaining. Even if they were two unknown bums fighting the fight was still terrible. Expectation has nothing to do with it. They both need to retire. Fans around the globe were robbed.
Well so boxing will still be in the shadows. I was really hoping for something juicy to get it back on the tracks. But whatever.
Floyd was always going to run, use his defensive skills and pot shot Pac. That's Mayweather boxing. When he was younger, and in lower weight classes he would get his KO's.Not anymore.
So glad all the overnight fans paid through the roof and gone home confused. While true boxing fans just witnessed a master at work.
it wasn't a great fight even as a floyd fan myself I thought it was pretty easy for floyd I wish manny put more pressure on he had 2 or 3 moments where he landed nice shots that looked like they could cause trouble but he just would not pressure floyd after
