Manny fought an idiotic fight, I think he actually believed he was winning. I don't know what Freddie and he were thinking, no urgency whatsoever. I'm disgusted with him and Freddie. That being said Floyd's style is a cancer on the sport, no one likes him, no one is entertained by him and everyone who doesn't typically follow the sport that bought this PPV will be sickened and never buy a PPV again, because what they saw was classic Floyd Mayweather which is boring as s*** he's Pernell Whitaker with a loudmouth, and no one cared about Whitaker either. So gloat all you want, my guy lost and your guy won........but in the end Boxing is the biggest loser of them all.

Agree with this. Floyd and Manny both won because of the money. The corporate side obviously won. But boxing will take a long time to recover from this disappointment. Most fans feel disgusted. This just was just two over the hill fighters collecting one last pay check.

Boxing has been around for over a century, it's not going to die.

It's called the sweet science for a reason

Floyd did his thing, it was on manny to bring the fight and he failed, the better man won

They should change the rules. If nobody does enough to win, its a draw.

Yeah, this was really bad for the sport. It was hailed the fight of the century, the fight of all fights, etc.

What we got was dreadful, horrible, dull, 12 rounds of Floyd running and nothing happening. God that really sucked. I feel bad for the suckers that paid 99 $ for that trash.

Meh, people should know what to expect of Mayweather, the name of the game is boxing and that's what he always does.

People put their hopes in Pacquiao and let's be honest, he disappointed, he should have fought more aggressively rather than let Mayweather cruise.

This is my first and last PPV. I gambled, knowing it was most likely going to be ****. Manny has no fire in his belly. His activity dropped dramatically since Bradley or maybe earlier. It wasn't anything Floyd did. A young Manny was not afraid to let it all hang out and possibly get KO'd.

Makes me long for the days when Hearns/Leonard/Duran/ Benitez ruled the roost. Mayweather is certainly a very talented fighter no doubt but tonight's fight made me realize how lucky I was to watch the aforementioned men duke it out back in the early 80's. I guess I'm showing my age a bit but it was a unique era.

Agreed, if you can't outbox the boxer you have to bring it to the boxer in my opinion. He failed and disappointed a lot of people who put their hopes in him.

Casuals don't and that's what CST is saying when he talks about the sport of boxing losing. No casual fan who bought this card is going to be thrilled with what they got for their money. And I doubt it will do much to encourage casuals to come back to the sport.
