    1. Both looked way past their primes, and extra cautious.
    2. Floyd won clearly (7 rounds to 5), but didn´t dominate. In no way this was a schooling.
    3. There was no sense of urgency in Manny until the 3rd or 4th round. That hurt him in the scorecards.
    4. Floyd connected more clean punches, but I don´t remember a fight where Mayweather missed more. Pac´s defense was better than decent in this fight.
    5. Floyd was stunned in round 4, and again a few rounds later, but Pac was never close to being hurt.
    6. Advantage in reach ended up being key, as they looked equal in speed.
    7. Floyd´s lateral movement and control of the distance is impecable.

I agree. But I had it wider for Floyd. I think reach was the key. And Manny defended Floyd's right very well, never seen Mayweather miss so much. It wasn't near a schooling.

Reach played a role, but Floyd's superior footspeed was the big difference maker, IMHO

Floyd's superior movement definitely played a huge role. Looked great for 38 and Manny seemed stuck in the mud.

According to Compubox, Floyd connected 34% of his punches (That has to be the lowest of his career), and Manny 19% (Also pretty sure that´s his lowest % ever).

More like lateral movement and control of the tempo. They fought Floyd's fight. I thought Pacquiao would try to push Mayweather more. Left hook was May's best punch.

And a lot of those were weak jabs to be honest. Floyd missed a lot.

How on earth can you find 5 rounds for Pacquiao? Maybe 3 at most.

    Pac has no power.

    6. Yep his reach advantage helped him throw those pitter patter jabs to keep Manny at bay in the later rounds from coming in to do more flurries

    7. Floyd utilized lateral movement to move left (Manny's right)
to evade any of Manny's power shots.

Not an exciting performance by Floyd but it was effective many times for him.

Could have been 8 rounds to 4, but I feel Floyd put the fight in the bag by winning the 11th and 12th rounds.

No way Pacquiao won 4 rounds, neither 5.

That's too close for the mismatch that happened.
