We don't know. To better answer that question they would have needed to fight when they were still prime. Unfortunately this fight came at the very twilight of their careers, Manny having been in 6 brutal wars, KTFO by JMM, and congress man and mega celebrity status.

Mayweather won, and he proved that he is the better fighter today, but the fight came conveniently late.

Both Arum and Floyd avoided this fight as long as they could.

The last thing they want Floyd's camp to know going in the ring is that Manny is injured...lol

And they did bring it up in the presser. Ugh, I need a rematch. This wasn't close to satisfying my Pac/Foyd hunger.

I'm questioning his ATG status. If you're an ATG you force you will on the guy. People saying Floyd didn't engage, well Manny didn't make him engage either.

I had it 7-5 I thought Manny was doing fairly decent as well, and I'm frustrated as hell that there seemed to be no urgency in the corner from Freddie and Manny, had they went all out they could have made the match close and could have possible had a draw, but Manny ****ed up on the grandest stage of them all and most fans won't care to see him try again. I don't think Floyd did as well as many are making it out to be, but Manny dropped the ball as well.

No. If you look at his career overall, he was a great boxer. Nobody stays at the top forever. He would still beat most WW's.

Meh. If a fighter really doesn't want to fight, especially one with the defensive acumen of Floyd, there's not a helluva lot you can do. Floyd talked about being greater than SRR. You think SRR fights like that against Pac? SRR would bring hell into that ring with him. Now THAT would have been the fight of the century.

Exposed in the sense that he's not on Floyd's level, YES!

History will not forget tonight no matter how many excuses Pacquiao or his fans come up with.

That's how I scored it the first time, even though I wasn't really keeping track. I thought most the rounds were really close except for the two times pac hurt him and maybe the final 2 for Floyd.

Manny had Floyd going. It was a dead even fight after 6 rounds, and even the late rounds were very close. Manny did well, but he's fighting a guy that literally just runs away.

No, he couldn't corner a runner. What do you expect?

The final 2 rounds both guys were exhausted and neither did much.

Actually if Floyd had beaten him and known about the injury and still decided the fight should continue otherwise no fight anymore, then Floyd would be looked at as a coward and trying to beat Manny when he's down.

No need when Floyd outclassed him, Manny has to retire if this "injury" takes a long time to heal. Floyd will be out after September anyway.

Exposed as being a fighter as opposed to a runner?
