I watched the fight with 8 casual fans today. They knew a bit about boxing and had nothing against Mayweather.

By the end of the fight they hated him, kept saying he runs around all day. The hate he got from a bunch of people who dont know boxing and approached it innocently proved to me what I already know about May.

He's not a fight fans type guy. You're either a die hard fan of defense which I dont buy with most of his fans, or you just wanna ride on the #1 bandwagon.

The fight wasn't exciting but what Mayweather did was boxing at his purest and if you can't appreciate the science of his craft - this sport isn't for you.

Go watch espn Monster knockout with the dazzling special effects.

Sickening you call this mans style a 'cancer' when you ride off the testicles of Wladimir Klitschko and praise and defend everything he does even though his code of sportsmanship is a lot lower than Floyds.
Greatness when Wlad back humps nobodies to death , but the sport of boxing loses when a black man boxes to a strong defense against one of the p4p best in the world:tired:oops:

The only cancer around here , is you - to this forum. You racist diseased human.

It's a bandwagon effect that's happening with Floyd.

If you want to see Highly technical Offense and defense without the cheap tactics that got the casual fans annoyed, Lomachenko is the truth.
Impressed even some of the people who don't watch boxing at the spot i was at.

Manny would of beaten him if he was not injured.

I felt from the first round Mayweather was going to win. It was a formality really

    You wish

Calzaghe-Hopkins was actually a good fight, and compared to that ****fest, a fireworks war.

Now I don't like Mayweather the person and think he's a terrible excuse for a human being at times, but one thing you can't take away from him is his ability to neutralise any of his competitors strengths with magical defensive boxing skills. I enjoyed watching Mayweather last night, sure it was no fight of the century but what it was, was a masterful display of pure boxing skills.

Mayweather will now retire undefeated and it would have been nice to see him surpass Marciano's undefeated record because for anyone who loves boxing recognises that what we have witnessed over the years from Mayweather is nothing but pure genius, no need to hate the Mayweather the boxer his record speaks for itself.

Any Wlad's fight is more entertaining than that ****. You're just mad because Wlad actually dominates in the most important division.

    Stay salty :good

The only thing exciting about that joke fight was Calzaghe hitting the deck in round 1. The rest was Calzaghe throwing as many punches as possible to expose Hopkins' age. His tactic was obvious and there was absolutely nothing extraordinary. I'd rather watch Mayweather vs Pacquiao any day of the week than any Calzaghe fight.

I don't get the hate - I thought the fight was great.

I was rooting for Manny, but I thought Floyd would win by 8-4 or better. 9-3 on the night seemed about right, and seeing all judges score it +1/-1 round seems fair enough.

We all knew what Mayweather was going to do, but to completely shut down Pac with a defensive masterclass was still beautifully impressive nonetheless. It's hard to believe he's coming on 40 when he moves like that, and overall, I'd say the fight, all things considered, was more impressive than his JMM comeback fight. Incredible athleticism & boxing IQ.

Both are ATG/HOF boxers, but now, for me, Floyd edges out Manny.

Says the guy who spends most his day obsessively bashing a dull fighter who holds too much, yet completely and utterly dominants his opponents like Floyd but with the bonus of usually delivering a highlight reel KO, because its clearly obvious that YOU HAVE THE RACIST AGENDA, otherwise Wlad wouldn't bother you nearly as much, I'm not even sure you are black but there's got to be some reason behind it.

I bash many defensively minded fighters I think they're all a cancer to the sport in terms of getting fans interested, and they almost all happen to be Black, BUT I'm ALSO a big fan of Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, Hagler, Hearns Leonard and they're Black but just not dull as watching paint dry. I have no agenda other than I don't like watching dull negative fighters that run for 90% of the match, like most sane people.

Cletus' Trailer -#80??? Terrible joke ****head.

Who are the casual fans who actually thought Floyd was going to go out there throwing haymakers trying to land a wild knockout? This fight went as most Mayweather fights.

If there were going to be offensive fireworks, Manny needed to turn it up a notch to force Floyd into throwing more. As a counterpuncher, Floyd's volume goes up as his opponent throws more punches.

Dominates opposition a lot worse, a lot smaller and a lot less skilled than Floyds and does so by pressing all 240 pounds of himself down on their shoulders till they can't move around no more.

What Wlad does is 100 times worse than what Mayweather does. Nothing wrong with criticizing Mayweather's style , but coming from a guy that rides the nuts of the worst cheater in the sport is laughable and exposes your racist mindset.

You never bashed Wlad in your life. You praise and glorify him and that gives you no right to make a thread like this.
One of your fellow ractist mates on here made it clear made it clear why low lifers like you love Wlad when he listed every black fighter Wlad ever knocked out and compared the feat to Wlad knocking out a fully black lead basketball team:tired:oops:

    Don't be so gloomy guys:

Manny FOTD, 8 division world champ, catchweight king, won the face-off, won the internet polls, #2 for now P4P. He tried his best for all his fans. God made him from nothing.:clap::clap::clap:

No shame being distant 2nd to Floyd. Floyd beat 47 other people like Manny.
