Half the time he was going backwards into the ropes or the turnbuckle, and just letting Manny whale on him. It's not his fault Manny could only find Mayweather's arms.

I'm not saying he is. If Manny was injured, he's injured. Manny didn't say anything about it, in the post fight interview. I didn't see the press conference yet, but if he mentioned it that doesn't mean he's making an excuse.

You see it as an excuse because your a Floyd fan. I mean, Roy Jones was injured vs B Hop the first time. It became a catch phrase "I beat Bernard Hopkins with one hand". Was Roy making excuses after beating B Hop saying he can only use one hand??

When Sweet Pea broke his clavicle in his last fight, was he making excuses?? Man, injures are a part of boxing. Doesn't mean you are making excuses.

I feel 100% the same way! It hurts more when you put most of your money on Manny and he fights like this.

Manny imo is a clueless one dimensional fraud.

He showed himself up as someone who has no boxing brain.

Manny came into the fight weighing too much. He ate like a pig after the weigh in. They need to keep him away from Buboy or he will have a massive stomach like his soon.

He got through the guard on many occasions throughout the fight. Manny also did his share of blocking Floyd jabs.

Agree. It was as much on Mayweather as it was himself. Pacquiao did a **** poor performance. His stamina sucked, his body condition wasn't where it needed to be. He didn't do Roach's game-plan [which was feint, in and out, angles).

Manny was a plodder tonight. He had opportunities, but he didn't capitalize. He didn't use his jab, cross, or hook which was the winning ingredients. We expected the Manny of old, but instead we got an old Manny. It was bad.

Mayweather looked Maidana-ish. I don't know why I expected both of them to walk in and look prime.

Then Pacquiao saying he hurt his shoulder which was reason he couldn't throw his right hand....well ok, that's still your own dang fault. You walk into the ring KNOWING your shoulder is hurt to the point you are fighting with a left hand only??? Then it's your own dang fault that you lost! Stupid, stupid. Pac was too overconfident. For him to think he could come in below 100% and beat the best fighter on the planet, it's literally laughable. Floyd took this seriously and the results proved it.

Because that's what Floyd wants you to do, to throw reckless so he can counter. Manny had a solid gameplan, to set Floyd up for situations where he can corner Floyd land combos on the ropes.

It worked for the first half of the fight, but then Floyd started running around the ring more and landing single punches. Floyd wasn't engaging, in the 2nd half of the fight. Score it however you want, but to blame Manny for the snoozefest is ridiculous. Floyd put everyone to sleep by running away. Manny is an actual fighter and tries to fight for the pleasure of the fans. Floyd puts you to sleep by running.

The reason why Maidana Floyd I was so exciting was because Floyd actuallly didn't run that much in that fight. And it was close. He did that because he thought he was so far superior to Maidana that he could do that and still win. And it almost cost him. (much like SRL's strategy vs Duran I) Floyd Maidana II was kinda like SRL Duran II in a way that Floyd decided to take less risks and it resulted in a wider decision.

Point being Floyd did not fight a cowardly fight, he didn't "run", he spent plenty of time on the ropes and when he moved away he generally controlled the centre of the ring. We've now come to this point where Manny fans/people who hate Mayweather are so blinded they forget everything they know about boxing, if they ever knew anything in the first place, and just gurgle out these meaningless soundbites on auto-pilot. I have seen Mayweather fight like a chicken in the past. He didn't against Manny. Perhaps he would have if Manny had put up any kind of real challenge.

58 posts and counting in less than 3 days is calling Pacquiao a fraud. I genuinely feel sorry for your mother.
