I would have loved to have seen Manny win but I'll just say two things

    1) The injury thing is not looking good for him right now, even if sadly and probably it really took place

    2) Destiny is sadly in this case, always in favor of the chosen ones, the legendary great ones. It's key injuries in sports that allows 1 team to win and another to lose, destiny chose May to be the healthier fighter.

I am not in the habit of 'if only such and such wasnt injured he would have won,' I truly believe in destiny with sports.

I hope Mayweather fights GGG ultimately...I mean, before GGG turns 40. Actually, i really do hope that that fight get's made....and GGG does us all a favor.

Which Pacquiao did...with one arm apparantly. Manny is being criticized for not throwing more, yet people who recklessly brawl (like Hatton) get knocked out. And you're blaming him for it being a snoozefest?

Pac fought a smart fight. I thought one thing that was apparant was Manny was able to cut off the ring quickly even when Floyd started running. It was a classic case of "you can run but you can't hide". Floyd moved left, right back, and Manny was there waiting for him setting him up for combos along the ropes. The fact that he did all that with one arm is the more impressive.

Everyone mad because the extreme version of the obvious outcome played out. And because that's what Mayweather fans, and most neutral boxing fans, have been saying all along. They were right.

lol I don't know what's worse, the butt hurt or the denial in this thread. Mayweather threw more punches and landed more punches. Accept the fact that Floyd was the better fighter for that night and move on.

anyone thinking many did enough or looked at any point like he would win that fight is quite frankly delusional or knows nothing about boxing. Floyd fought like Floyd, Manny and Freddie had no answer to him. as a neutral watching for me the onus was on manny to show why he was the better man and sorry but he looked levels below Floyd. be interesting to hear if manny had any problems in camp because he at no point looked like he believed he was the better man.

Wait, this was the fight that they were billing as the "Fight of the Century"? Listen, the FOTC took place on 3/8/1971. This farce was the biggest hype job I've ever seen...it should have happened 6 years ago.....and it would have if Mayweather had the ***** and courage of Muhammad Ali.

Can't agree with people saying that Manny came to fight and that he was trying to make the fight entertaining. Compare his workrate in this fight with his workrate in any other fight he has been in and you will see what the problem was.
