Good post, and I believe in destiny too. Admittedly, I like most regular people were rooting Pacquiao. Because, he's a more likeable human being, he is a more fan friendly fighter, and the guy wears his heart on his sleeve for the fans.

Even Floyd said after the fight that he now "gets" why Pacquiao is such a top star, while he was being booed and while Manny was being cheered. Going into the fight, I knew there was high probability that Floyd wins. Size advantage, we know that Floyd takes advantage of the most high quality healthcare and modern treatments available in America, where Manny is just a regular guy who has a political life. Manny has a lot of responsibilities. While Manny dedicates his life to helping his native country, Floyd flaunts his money and rubs it in that he's richer than you. How can anyone root for a guy like that? Be humble Floyd and maybe more people will respect you.

I just don't think we should trash Manny Pacquiao. The guy is a warrior, fighting injured, trying to press the action and upset Floyd. Manny Pacquiao is everything that's right about boxing and Floyd is everythng that's wrong with boxing.

Don't know which arm was injured, but seeing as he didn't do anything with either arm I doubt it makes a difference

Manny was trying to attack but Floyd kept moving out of range. It's not that Pacquiao wasn't trying to be aggressive, Floyd's movement, jab and defence was just too much.

Was he fighting with no legs too? Flat-footed, slow, no angles.

    Schooled.

Same tired excuses. Only reason we're hearing this is because Manny wants the cash from a rematch - the so-called man of the people who does it all for his fans wants to con people into paying $100 to watch him get schooled again.

Floyd's style is what made it boring. If Pacquiao was up against a less defensive fighter, it would have been more entertaining. If Floyd fought like that against any welterweight in the world right now it would be a boring, one sided fight.

I understand they are trying to sell us/ setup the rematch. The problem is this: shoulder tear or not the rematch produces the same result. Mayweather is incredible. The problem wasn't the shoulder, the problem was Floyd and his ability to control the distance.

How ironic. Jesus was supposed to deliver Floyd into his hands, but it seems a lame Pacquiao couldn't even use both of his hands.

Do they perform shoulder augmentation procedures, Pac could use a couple more inches of reach.

Maybe Jesus did deliver Floyd into his hands, by making Floyd realize that Pacquiao is loved by the fans while he is booed. Floyd now "gets it" thanks to Jesus. Jesus work in mysterious ways...:good and maybe Floyd can now join Pacquiao in prayer and talk about faith!

I agree. When I was watching it I was wondering why Floyd doesn't throw more punches. Focused too much on defence not enough on offence especially after he claimed he was going for the KO before the fight. His defence was very, very impressive though.

Well he tried to fight "smart" and got completely schooled, wasn't such a great idea was it?

If he fought more aggressively, yeah, he'd be risking a KO but at the same time he'd actually have some sort of chance to win the fight. This is what people were expecting of Manny in the first place, people expected him to try and overwhelm Floyd and he did nothing like that. He was a disappointment tonight.

I believe Manny. I believe he has this rotor tear or what ever it is.

I also believe from what i saw Manny didnt know how to get to Mayweather and neither did his corner. Floyd was quicker and Manny couldnt get any more than a few desperate looking shots off before he either got countered or Floyd had gone out of range.

Clearly team Pacquaio underestimated how elusive and speedy Floyd was guna be.
