I've never seen Manny act like that. The interview with Kellerman, Pac didn't want to give Floyd credit. Claimed he think he won the fight, Floyd didn't want to fight (running). Max said but you knew Floyd moves and box, what was the plan to stop it, Pac then had arm excuses and repeating the plan was to stand and fight. But then at the same time said Floyd's punches don't hurt, he's not too big, has no power. So why didn't you run right through him?! Manny just wouldn't admit the game plan abd execution was a fail...

I thought Pacquiao won about 4 rounds and had it 116-112, so that 118-110 score was exaggerated, but let's be honest, Floyd once again put on a clinic.

Thing is, it's really impressive when he does it against all the best out there...

He embarrassed himself in the interview. Then with the excuses after. He took his loss pathetically.

He could have won by being slightly more active then he was in this fight, but it's a very fine line with Floyd being so defensively skilled. To be honest, i think that the shoulder injury was probably more of an issue then the subconscious of being KO'd my Marquez. I reckon the KO of Marquez occurred because he was fighting the same guy 4 times who he has already beat and he was coming off what was generally perceived as a robbery decision loss vs Bradley. When you get robbed like that, in the next fight there is a tendency to try to win rounds more convincingly and be too active and you end up getting caught. (For the record I personally thought Bradley did very well vs Pacquiao and was fine with him winning, but obviously it was percieved as a robbery, Lampley nearly had a cow lmao... i bring this up to explain one of the reasons why Pacquiao got KO'd vs Marquez) Marquez is not the guy to be overly aggressive towards. Floyd had such an easy time with Marquez because well Floyd wasn't aggressive and Marquez had trouble finding and landing on Floyd. Marquez by all accounts is a solid fighter but Floyd truly dominated him. Mainly due to the size advantage and Floyd's defensive-oriented gameplan. Styles make fights.

Seems some folk may have got swayed by the crowd cheering every time Manny threw shots, even when watching on tv. Maybe those missed shots counted as scoring shots to some of these people? Don't bother actually seeing if they connect, just go with the cheering.

Other than that, I cannot see how anyone with basic observational skills would think that Pacman outworked, outscored, outlanded Floyd in that fight. The stats do not back up that argument either.

Me too. I expected better from him and the "shoulder" excuse made it worse.

I guess you did not even look at the straight left that Pacquiao landed at round 12.

He has no case for winning the fight.
