Floyd just moves from my top 50 into the top 40 and that is being very generous.

Floyd is Top 30 for me. He waited too long, and fought a faded and one-armed Pacquiao.
Pacquiao is Top 25 near JC Chavez.

Accomplishments are what rate fighters at the end of the road and I dare you all to name more than 9 ex-boxers that have a better track record when it's all said and done.

    - Undefeated.
    - Champ in 5 weight classes
    - Th best of his era without a doubt.

He was annoying to me 10 years ago for exploiting the low risk high reward idea, but he's finally faced all challenges, and not only that, but by making it look so incredibly easy in the process.

That's the highlight for me, making it look so easy against all the other top opposition. Not many fighters can say that from the past.

I know it's a subjective process, but I just can't put Floyd anywhere but in the TOP 10 ATG list.

    I agree.

But even if he fights Khan and Golovkin, wins both and reaches 50-0 it still won't convince many people. That's the price that Mayweather is now paying.

We'll never know how far Mayweather really could've gone because he never applied himself.

Is Mayweather peter pan? did he not age alongside these guys, think its time folk started giving him proper credit. It will come in 20 years time and he will get the plaudits then that he deserved now.

That is way too easy to say.

I was a big critic of Floyd, even up to the moment he faced Mosley.

At some point, you have to give credit where it's due.

Would you also be as critical of Pacquiao ? Has Pacquiao truly beat the best possible versions of Morales, Barrera, Hatton and Cotto ?

Has he ever truly beat Marquez ?

It's so easy to say these things and look for the negative when that's what you want to do...

Floyd beat everyone he should have and for 20 years now. He's not only beat them, but has made it look so easy the vast majority of the time, and THAT counts for quite a lot !

Bottem end of my top 30... he was already there before this fight so that did not change much.

I already said 2 years ago that this fight would be meaningless but im giving Mayweather some credit regardless.

I said a long time time ago win or lose against Pacquiao he comes in around 40 to 50 with Pacquiao above him. I'll revise that down to 30 to 40 but still behind Pac. His resume shows a lot of very good fighters but not 1 elite fighter in his prime at his best weight. His career has been carefully orchestrated to avoid those match ups.

As stupid a comment as all the various Pac loss excuses.

SRR? More like SRL. Steals rounds with controversy when he knows he cant win. Its ok everyone knows Hagler was better.
