Do you think Manny genuinely believes he won?

Or is he taking it badly and said it more out of frustration? I love the guy but there's no doubting (in my eyes) that he was outclassed by Floyd.

He does, along with everyone who has half an eye for boxing.

Anyone who has half an eye for boxing know that Pac got his backside handed to him. You must be on about those with half an eye for ineffective workrate.

Manny can't seriously think he won that. Floyd landed more shots, cleaner shots, more often.

I think Castillo won that fight - No arguments from me!

Just because I give Floyd credit for a solid win, it doesn't mean I'm a fanboy - I'm just a realist.

He did win, go to a local boxing club and ask around. Pac won the boxing fight, Floyd might have won a video game about boxing where touching the glove of your opponent softly constitutes to a point on the card.

I think he does, he does believe he did all the attacking and Floyd just ran and he picked up all those points cuz he was working harder and Floyd doing very little other than staying well out of range and potshotting now and again.

Maybe with a clear head he can rewatch it and sorta realise he was beaten.

Yeah he believes it because he probably feels as though he was the aggressor.

It was clear to anyone objective that he lost decisively.

Maybe he will go back and re-watch the fight.

I wouldn't blame him. Pac won 4,6,9 clearly, then have a case for rounds 3,10,12. Heck, rounds 2 and 7 were close too (but FMJ by a very very very slim margin)

He thought he won the 3rd fight with Marquez too. Freddie will explain it to him when they review the tape. No need for a rematch. He wouldn't do anything differently. And Floyd would improve, as cerebral fighters often do.

I fully understand why he thinks he won when asked 5 minutes after the fight ended. He probably felt he was pushing the action, wsa more aggressive, and, as he said, that Floyd "did nothing".
Manny doesn't get this mentality that FLoyd has, of turning up to win on points and not come to fight. Therefore in his head he can't see how Floyd beat him

But I'm sure when he watches the tape he'll realise he was outclassed by a superior boxer

Most amateur boxers and coaches on my Facebook are praising Floyd for his performance and are claiming it is only casuals who don't respect what floyd just done.

If he truly believes this he is delusional as Roach.
