If you be too aggressive against Floyd he will make you miss and counter you. Pac knows how dangerous that can be (he has been stopped before) so he tried to find a way to work his way in intelligently so as not to get countered, tagged coming in schooled even worse and dropped/stopped.

Pacquiao was trying to feint, time Floyd, counter him, surprise him etc otherwise he would have no chance of landing. Ricky Hatton got KO'd by Floyd when he charged in without intelligence.

It was boring and if they get backlash it's well deserved. This was the supposed to be the greatest fight in decades with the world watching. Do you know what this could've done for the sport if they had actually tried to put on a good match? The amount of new fans that could've been won and instead were turned off at the lackluster performance of both fighters? For the hype surrounding it and the jacked up price tag it was a really shameful performance, moreso from Floyd, but you should've expected it out of him. He hasn't taken off his skirt for years now. He's boxings forest gump.

And what's this bashing of Tyson all about? Yes Tyson feasted on cans in his younger years, but he always made for exciting fights, went for the knockout and gave fans his money's worth. Can't say that about a certain someone.

Haha the injury really couldn't of been that bad.

Why wait so long to report it?

Manny had no answer for the clinch, the check left hook, the jab, the right hand, and Floyd's defense.

BUT, he had his moments. And he had Floyd hurt early in the fight. However, Floyd recovered in the same round.

You can't be serious. Fan or not, Pacquiao is not on the level of Floyd Mayweather Jr. I've been saying this for years and it is finally revealed. Sore losers can't accept being schooled. This was simply a case of a great boxer against a good boxer.

The only opponent he did better against arguably was Hatton, and that was because Hatton was mentally broken by Floyd.

Manny didn't have the "roids" in his corner this fight.:patsch

It sure looked like it from the very beginning of the fight, which absolutely baffled me.

He looked like he was implementing the same gameplan as Canelo ALvarez tried against Floyd, trying to outbox and out think one of the greatest technical boxers who ever lived.

Manny should've just went for broke from the opening bell, he might've looked very sloppy at times and would've definitely been countered a lot more for his extra aggression, but that was the only way I figured he'd have a chance to beat Floyd.

It's going to take a million dollar punch landing on Mayweather to beat him. No one is equipped with the skills in today's boxing game to attempt to outbox or out think him. He's just way too cerebral and way too experienced at this point.

Tyson was everything that was right with boxing. Floyd is everything that is wrong with boxing.

Tyson wouldn't of waited 7 years or whatever or for Pac to lose two fights and gettin up in age. Tyson would try knock his opponents head off with every punch. Floyd was running and throwing little pitty pat point scoring touches. Floyd threw 2 or 3 punches with bad intentions for the entire fight(!) at the beginning of one of the later rounds. Tyson brought the fans excitement, good fights, action. Floyd bores fans to tears and have them swearing that they never wanna watch boxing again.

No one is. Floyd is on another level than the entire world. No one is as calculated at gaining advantages before a fight than Floyd.

I was pretty surprised. I didn't think Floyd would ever be stationary whenever Manny went on one of his 15 punch combos. But when Manny sneaked in a good left and had Floyd up against the ropes, he couldn't do anything past Floyd's high guard. Impressive.
