man i thought he was done after the two maidana fights, but **** he looked sharp he was winging those punches with lighting speed from so far out, manny was countered before he deciced to even throw amazing at 38.

Oh GTFO of here with that. He looked the same as last few fights and didn't fight at all like the manny from hatton, oscar or cotto fights. I thought something was wrong with his foot, because I've never seen manny so stationary and attacking straight up and not using his amazing footwork.

Was floyd ever drug tested? It was him that looked more cut than ever and heard he wasn't even tested.

Sky caught tyson leaving with his girl and he was quite complimentary to Floyd when asked about the fight. When asked can anyone beat him tyson said no.

The fight was "almost close" if that makes sense. I had it 8-4 but 7-5 was possible but a little to generous for me.

I doubt he will continue his career for so long.

He will probably fight in september against Pacman, Cotto or Khan. Then retire.

Probably comeback in 2016 or 2017 for one fight.

They scored every cheer for their guy as a round won by Pacquiao.

Round 1 did actually reflect how the fight was going to go quite well. At the end of the round I remember thinking that Pacquaio was going to have to be very active for 11 rounds to stand any chance of getting a decision.

Also, early as it was, any chance of Mayweather getting KOed seemed to slip away when the difference in their footspeed was highlighted from the very first round.

He knocked out Larry Holmes. Larry not an ATG? He was fighting guys 6 inches taller than him as a teenager and is the youngest heavyweight champ. Fighters peak at different ages.

Mike actually fought full grown men, so he auto wins anyway :smoke

Floyd is a very gifted athlete. He is also one of the most boring fighters in the game, at the elite level. It's funny how these big Floyd fans live vicariously through their man. They figuratively puff out their chests because they, er, I mean Floyd, is undefeated. And the funniest thing is how each and every one of them are just a little more knowledgeable about boxing. Only they understand the Sweet Science. They marvel how their man can glide around the ring, flick that jab and throw that occasional counter, do a little shoe shine and then slip away. Hit and not be hit. Yeah, boy, that is boxing at its finest, according to Floyd fans. If Floyd "Money" Mayweather typified boxing, in general, I would never watch another bout. "If you want to watch a fight, where two brutes trade haymakers, then watch MMA or go to your local bar." No, I prefer to watch two gifted boxers get into meaningful exchanges and let the better man win. Can't wait until Floyd and his entourage are no longer on the scene.
