I am a fan of both guys more so Mayweather and he put on very good performance showing discipline and pose it was not his best performance and i wouldn't call it a total domination. The only thing i would of liked him to do was be more aggressive but i suppose that plays into Manny's hands.

Like i have been saying Floyd is bigger and smarter and that was what got him the win, Pac is a great little fighter but against great bigger fighter he was punching above his weight.

I had it 8-4 for Mayweather

    The better man won.

Mayweathers problem is he is too good a fighter.

Too intelligent, casual fans who can't appreciate boxing skill want to see two trained morons slugging it out (I mean who doesn't).

As a fan of Mayweather i get what the casual's mean but not to the extent they take it i would of liked Mayweather to be more aggressive.

Of course, but you have to factor in this - you are watching a 40 year old defensive fighter doing what he does best.

My favorite part of the fight was when Floyd started clinching pacquiao coming in and held his arms till bayless told him to break or the bell rang signaling the end of the round. That unnecessary clinching is the stuff of champions.

And Mayweather outsmarted Freddie Roach again.
Roach has been let off lightly, he has made some big boasts over the last few years and if that was the best he could come up with after 5-6 years then he should be getting hammered.

Of course it would be great if he was as aggressive as he used to be. But he's 40 years old now, everyone acts like that doesn't matter. He's going to start fighting like one at some point.

Even though I agree I think this fight would have been much closer five years ago before Pac got KO'd by the punch he was getting tagged with all night long.

He outsmarted him over the entire 5 1/2 year period as well.
Mayweather is a smart businessman and tough negotiator.
Pacquiao's just an old school "ask my promoter" kind of fighter.
    Mayweather outslicked him.
