What has GGG done to deserve a shot at Floyd?

And Cunningham or say Huck would brutally ko GGG so what does that prove? Would you agree that the fight makes no sense whatsoever....from a p4p sense Floyd is class above ggg and GGG is a class above a Cunningham or Huck. Not sure how best to articulate this however I do hope you good folks understand the insignificance of a Floyd ggg fight.

Golovkin could probably knock them both out in one night, so a fraudulent championship match it would be.

Just designed to pander to Floyd Mayweather's ego and legacy rather than actually decide the best fighter in the world at the weight. :deal

I actually like Gennady, but I'm also under the pretense that if you want to fight the #1 P4P fighter in the world, you have to bring a little bit more to the table than having your signature win up to this point being Martin Murray.

GGG is a terrific talent, but he needs to step up his level of competition before thinking about a big payday with one of the top guys.

I'd be much more impressed with Gennady if he decided to jump up to 168 and take on someone closer in size to him who actually has a legitimate shot. Ward specifically comes to mind.

His handlers have mentioned he'll take on anyone from 154-168. Ok than, prove it.

Exactly....one would assume objectivity and proper perspective are God given abilities but the more I stay in this site the less I believe that to be true for the human race lol

You GGG fans are a bunch of obscene cry babies.

Floyd and Cotto are draws. Big draws. GGG ain't. Maybe he will be some day, but by that time Cotto and Floyd will likely be long retired.

Cotto should relinquish his middleweight title and f**k off down to Floyd's weight class if the two of them can't even face the idea of facing a proper middleweight like GGG.

.... instead of hijacking the middleweight division with their feeble little selves.

    Well, let's see...

Cotto is the legit middleweight champion.

    He's allowed a voluntary defense.

Floyd is the opponent who makes the most sense for him?

So why shouldn't the middleweight champion fight the biggest draw in boxing, who happens to be the P4P King of the sport?

In other words, why wouldn't Cotto want to defend his title against Floyd? Seriously?
