    No

i thought Pacquiao would put a beating on Maweather but he made Pacquiao gunshy as soon as he landed the counter right hand,he got schooled,no need for a rematch.

Pac did about as well against Mayweather as Jennings did against Klitschko...what a shameful pathetic performance from Pacquiao

Roach is an overrated trainer. A media creation. Couldn't give pac any useful advice in the corner. At one point HBO stopped zooming into their conner because Roach wasn't giving pac any adjustment advice.

    This.

The whole event was a squib and we can all pretend it was somehow close or even, but really I think anyone fair-minded can see it was not. Mayweather was in total control, he didn't 'run all night' as seems to be refrain from people who don't like the result. He did what he always does, win a wide UD with a far superior skill-set, spoiling and taking away his opponents strengths, in what must have quite rightly seemed to the casaual a snooze-fest of a fight.

I wanted Pac to win as it happens, but I can see no case whatsoever for a rematch. It wasn't close, anyone who gives Pac more than three rounds should be barred from any serious conversation about the fight - and the rounds he won were of the 'not much happened and it was close' variety.

I'm afraid the hat has to go off to Mayweather for taking everything away from the best offensive fighter of the millenium. Why is it so hard for some to do that?

The sheer number of threads and postings on the May/Pac thing is boring beyond any measure. Never mind the purse, the true record for this fight is the astronomical volume of online BS from fangirls of both of these fighters. Thank God it is over. Hell no a rematch of the whole thing.

Pac lost and was made to look average. I wish he'd won, but he did not. Clearly beaten. That's that really.

    This

he was hesitant to throw because of the counter right, the last person in the world who i thought would be scared to throw combinations in fear of getting hit was Pacquiao, before ktfo6 he would of at least of got knocked out throwing a lot of punches,it was a terrible performance.

You had five years to get a gameplan for this since this is how he's fought forever, and it didn't work, i won't be paying for a rematch

Yeah was truly baffling to watch.

No hunger, no encouragement, no advice, just a timid old man frozen like a deer in headlights. The occasion got to him badly. And to think he said Pacquiao would win all 12 rounds

Roach needs to keep quiet. He will be haunted by Mayweather until the end of his days - first for the De La Hoya fight and now this.

Talking all that sit about how he has several gameplans, he's been studying Floyd, Pacuiao will knock him out, he knows the blueprint on how to beat him etc. yet he sent Pacuiao out there with the worst ever gameplan - in fact it didn't even look like he had one.

All that talk and training and Roach sends Pacquiao out for the worst performance of his career. Pathetically ****.

    Easy fight for Floyd.
    No rematch.
    Barely competative.

5-6 years Roach had to prepare Pacquiao with the perfect gameplan.
Roach claimed he had it and Pacquiao would execute it.

They both failed to prepare and execute a gameplan and now are whining, crying and making excuses.

It was not close enough to justify a rematch, Roach should just accept as a trainer he can't train a fighter to beat Mayweather, does not mean he is not a good coach just means Mayweather is a great boxer.
