How can you say that? Floyd fought his chief rival of his era, the one many said he was scared to fight and completely controlled him from start to finish. What does he have to do to get ranked higher?

I just don't see how he's not right around where WHItaker is ranked.

FLoyd has won around 10 fights against HOF fighters, has won around 25 title fights, he's beaten the other great fighter of his generation who just so happens to be a FOTD winner and he's marching his way onto being 50-0.

He's had an incredibly long reign and there's a pretty good chance he can meet Cotto in the fall for his MW title. That would give him 5 lineal championships and make him the only other guy besides Duran to venture up from 130 and win the MW championship (I don't count DLH winning a trinket title against Sturm, especially since I thought Sturm won that fight.)

That could essentially make him the lineal champion in 3 weight classes SIMULTANEOUSLY. We're now venturing into Henry Armstrong territory. A guy whose been universally ranked as a top 10 P4P fighter since 1998. The achievements are quite incredible.

    I rank on h2h.

Floyd would most likely be amongst my top 10 when he retires.

    Pac amongst my top 25.

both were physically better as SFW fighters but both have greater ring IQ as welterweights.

Haven't done a list for a while and I don't include active fighters.

Pac somewhere in just inside the thirties, and Floyd well inside the twenties, no worse than 25.

Pacquiao is a top 20 fighter.

Wins over prime Bradley, Barrera, Marquez, Cotto, Hatton, Ledwaba, Sasukul.

Mayweather wins over prime Hatton and Corrales and arguably green Canelo.

    It's a whitewash.
