I wouldn't be so sure about what people would pay to see.

Mayweather is living proof that people will be to see the same sh!t over and over.

I don't know, I'm curious who the last opponent will be. I doubt much of a risk.

Pacman was getting nailed by that right hand in those rounds. But I liked the fourth, I wasn't sure if manny was being tentative of being countered when he hurt Floyd or he was gassed out.

Manny seemed completely lost in the post fight press conference.

I called it, but with the caveat that Pacquiao might be able to "turn back the clock" for the big event.
I mean, it's those possibilities that hook us in.

And, us, the guys who actually know a bit about the history of this sport, are perhaps most vulnerable to that line of thinking, 'cos there are so many precendents.

Man, I was hoping to see the 'unexpected' as much as the next guy.
The fact that it didn't happen just makes me appreciate the Alis and the Holyfields who pull that sh!t off in the big fights even more, I guess.

(Thinking about it like that, I actually feel a bit better now and less cynical.)

    Don't think so.

About twenty bigger boxing names than Paulie said the fight didn't take place because Floyd was worried about losing.

I think their collective insights would exceed Paulie's .

    Like who?

And why do you think Unforgiven or I have better insight than Paulie?

Well, if Dino says it, it might not necessarily be so.

But if Dino, Fifty Cent, Foreman, Hagler, Duran, Oscar, Shane, RJJ, Evander, DeMarcus and a host of other say it, Dino might be closer to the truth than a very bitter and biased Paulie.

Because we punch harder, for starters.

He was moving though and landing shots of his own, he wasn't stuck in mud until The midrounds.

I don't think he was worried about counters, Floyd wasn't in position to throw back, Pac just stopped despite breaking his guard and hitting the body

    Yes.

This is what I've always suspected.

He might be in league with Boxed Ears.

In fact, he might even BE BE.

I listed a sample in post 844 of this thread.

Paulie has held some kind of grudge against Pac for a long time and I don't think he can be taken seriously on the matter.

The sound isn't great on this interview with boxing babe, but Paulie goes into full-blown, uber-spaz meltdown mode when he talks about Pac.

I would give that fine-looking hound who used to be in your av, more credibility on the subject of Pac, than I could give to Paulie.

Mayweather came into the ring wearing what looked like a dog collar.
    Any idea what that was?
