A shoulder injury wouldn't have stopped him from at least getting into position to throw something - which he rarely was. I call BS with Manny just looking for another big payday to retire after angling for a rematch that no-one wants to see.

I don't believe in this injury nonsense - 'my killer instinct is back', 'Manny's punching harder than ever' etc, etc. It's all smoke and mirrors. If he was injured so far out from the fight they should have postponed, certainly as no tickets had been sold or allocated at that point. Manny had nothing for Floyd, no answer.

Hard to fight back when you are being beaten to the punch. No need to lie about the reason why though.

when was pac prime? was it when he was still struggling with jmm years ago?

Pac has had the same issues all his career with cutting off the ring and defending the right hand

Sr carries with him extremely high expectations for Floyd.

Didn't really like how he performed last night.

Saying that Floyd can't really do the things he used to be able to do.

I agree with him. Floyd's at his end. He's an ATG, one of the greatest ever. Nothing more for him to prove imo.

Manny's punch numbers were extremely low because Floyd was elusive and fought a tremendous fight. Pacquiao ate hard right hand counters EARLY in the fight that had him going completely off balance. Anyone who thought Pacquiao would go in there and throw anything close to 100 punches per round was kidding themselves. Floyd was not there, Manny would have been shadow boxing. Once again, you have NO clue if Manny was injured. He shoulder didn't look injured when he threw his arms in the air after the fight thinking he won when he landed an abysmal %19 of his punches. As Al Bernstein said, Floyd can turn down a volume puncher's output. He didn't throw it because 1) he couldn't land it and 2) he payed for it.

    Wait...

    It makes sense now...

Roach said during training that Pac did 12 rounds with only his left.

    Damn.

He should be careful what he wishes for, because if Floyd did leave tomorrow, this idiot would get no airtime.

Sr is one of the greatest coaches in the history of the sport.

I'm sure more and more people will be hiring him.

Bradley jumped on the ropes in the first fight to celebrate and then showed up to the presscon in a wheelchair from foot injuries.

It does make me curious. Ellerbe was telling everyone that Pac had a horrible camp so maybe this injury played a part. If a one armed Pac still had Floyd on the defensive all night and reluctant to ever engage than that is highly impressive.

Because pacquiao wasn't really injured. This injury is just a bs excuse which pac team is using to think it would warrant a rematch. They that desperate for a rematch.

First off Manny showed pain from a sickening body punch from Margarito.

Secondly Manny has a history of backing off or coasting. He lost his 'killer instinct' years ago and hasn't had a KO finish since 2009. Smoke and mirrors.

Pacquiao was tested 13X for this fight. At age 36, an old and shot Pac hurt Floyd on 3 occasions and Floyd is known for being iron-jawed.
