Lame excuse, people are backtracking now because they said that Mayweather would never fight Manny. So now that he's fought him, the new argument is, "Floyd fought Pac when he was shot". Let's be consistent here, Floyd fighting Manny alone crushes some myths about him, then beating Manny really leaves his in-ring detractors with nothing more to discuss. This is the fight you clamored for, and had Manny won you would have given credit for him beating Floyd is neither in his prime either.

 

Look at the smack he's been talking about GGG when he knows as well as anyone else that the Kazakh decapitates his charge. About time Freddie started being a bit more honest when he talks.

 

Yeah.The footwork, stamina, and lack of punches shocked me. Landing only 6 punches in a rd? Wtf. Mayweather did good but Pacquiao also did BAD. REALLY bad. Like "so disappointing, you could have made this more competitive and you embarrassed yourself" bad.

Was Floyd performance that great that you think he was juiced up? Or what else are you basing it on?

 

He backed up Canelo, Mosley, Pacquiao endless names. He almost dropped Cotto with a vicious uppercut, granted Miguel was tiring. Maidana said he has respectable power, was it Mosley who said Floyd hits harder with one punch? Floyd can crack when he sits down on shots, his power is fine but obviously when he was lower down he had hurting power not just stunning/warning power. He could've stopped a few opponents at 147 if he'd committed imo but that's not Floyd.

This Mayfeather sillyness comes from Floyd potshotting, not from the actual effects his punches have on them. Which is evident by the wariness of his opponents, except caveman Maidana. He couldn't drop Maidana though who has been dropped a couple times. It's not big power but it's solid power. Dinamita goes sailing on his backside almost every fight so that wasn't particularly indicative of much.

 

I want to see some blood n' guts fighters, some mean KO artists, come along and establish a new era.

It's absurd that people who never watch boxing are paying to watch Mayweather, and being told that he's the man to watch.
