:rofl Unfortunately for you, the history books say the opposite.

Mayweather has gapped Pacquiao on the ATGs list. :deal

"injury free" is kind of a misnomer to most who know the intimate details of the sport. There are just different degrees of injuries either small/nagging over the years or serious ones.

The odds that either manny or floyd would walk into a rematch completely "injury-free" at their ages (where the risk only increases) is virtually nil. Just let it go, imo & accept the reality.

No one wants to pay $100 again to see May school him once more.

Even if his B.S story was true, he would still have been schooled.

2 different classes of fighter we saw last night.

It wasn't close, in no point in that fight.

Pacquiao had nothing for Floyd and he never will.

Floyd is just a more talented fighter, a much smarter one too at that. :rofl

You speak the truth, man. :good

    I wrote in a thread earlier :

"It's like people aren't really even expecting something great, just buying into that nagging idea that "You can't miss it!" and "what if ..."

These things are massively marketed, very expertly packaged, and advertised.

The whole concept of the "Superfight" (nowadays MEGAfight) has changed massively in the last ten years or so."

What I mean is, the actual action and the fight has become not even secondary to the wider "event".

People don't really expect a FIGHT, they might just hope for one.

But they soon forget how rubbish the actual contest was, and get caught up again in the next "build up".

I'm sure Floyd thought Roach planned very well too.

Greater at what... Oh I see he's greater at losing, that was like Pac's sixth loss...

    You're right he is greater.

Freddie always struck me as a matchmaker and guy who talks to promote Pac's fights rather than an actual trainer.

dude people have died and permanetly brain damaged from the sport of boxing, most of it is not fixed.

floyd fought safety first, that is all, which makes it boring like Klitschko.

Just stop already, the guy lost.

You were under the pretense before the fight he would be throwing 75 plus punches per round. I kept telling you that you were out of your mind and a ring general like FLoyd will dictate how many punches Manny throws.

I saw him trying to throw that right hand, maybe not as frequently as he usually does, but he was throwing it.

If he had a legitimate shoulder injury, he had no business being in that ring. He only made mention of it after having a debriefing with Bob Arum and Freddie Roach in a very odd huddle before the post fight press conference, but seemingly made no mention of his injured shoulder to Max Kellerman right after the fight.

Get over it and accept the fact you were completely wrong. He lost to the superior fighter, and now you're just reaching for excuses like boxing_master and the rest of the trolls.

I asked to read it with open minds. :/ So, the possibility of Manny being seriously inhibited doesn't raise questions at all?

Floyd making this fight act like it's a big deal so what you beat a clown who was the 2012 KO victim of the year a dude who hasn't had a KO since being accused of being on steroids.

I don't know what the big deal is, it's not like Manny hasn't loss 5 times prior to that.

Had Pac been undefeated the accomplishment of beating him would be great but come on man, this guy was stretched out by Rustico Torrecampo and you want me to give Floyd props for beating a guy like that?
