Yeah, the excuses just make him seem like a sore loser. If he would have mentioned the shoulder to Kellerman it would have been a little more creditable.

    He's right...

I think Floyd would still outbox Thurman with ease

Brook might be a little harder and Khan could turn into a nightmare

    So might as well retire...

Was there something wrong with Manny's left shoulder too? His patented lead left was almost non-existent. Do you know why? Floyd countered over it making him hesitant to throw it. Hell, Floyd countered just about every signature punch that Manny threw at one time or another. It made Manny completely gun shy and dropped his pucnh output dramatically!

A master class, indeed! It's over. History has been made.

You guys are aware I was being sarcastic, look at any other posts of mine and you will see that I am more than proud of the spanking Pac got. I knew the very next day would be excuse day.

I was trying to lure out the missing Pac **** Nation that has disbanded all of a sudden.

Maravilla was probably 60% fit at maximum, I don't recall him making a single excuse in the ring against Cotto and gave him full credit, a very gracious man in a defeat that is widely considered inaccurate. We got the reports and comments a little afterwards, when Cotto had received the plaudits. Now, I doubt like hell Pac was anywhere near as effected as Maravilla (who was still a live body but just barely with those injuries).

Pacquiao looked his usual self, maybe he had a shoulder injury that meant he was at 90% and not 99%, the things I saw, the tactics and Floyd's pristine approach, Pacquiao would not win on any planet coming at Floyd like that. He can give credit where credit's due in that respect and say the shoulder factored in, then again, I'm sure Mayweather isn't operating at full capacity either.

He injured it in round 3 they said but round 4 is his best round, where he's actually getting some momentum and meaningful progress going.

    Yes.. nightmare for Khan

Floyd is someone who actually knows how to throw the left hook.

And we know what happens when left hooks land on that dude's mandible.:lol:

Even if his shoulder had been really injured it doesn't have anything to do with his lack of footwork.

He didn't follow the gameplan, how can you blame Sr for that?

Ricky also went off training with some other dude without Sr's knowledge and got himself overtrained.

There's no way Pacquiao could have won anyway in a distance fight.
When was the last time he looked like an awesome fighter ? 2010, 2011 ? Years ago.
I mean, he'd need to be at his best to beat any version of Floyd.

So, what do you do ? It's pretty obvious what we saw last night. No one got hurt. Yes, Floyd won, he edged those rounds, clearly he did just enough to win most those rounds. Manny launched a couple of attacks but didn't press too much, even if he could.
    Manny didn't take a beating.
This was like the Mayweather-De La Hoya fight, hardly anything resembling real violence in a whole 12 rounds.
What to make of it ? Do the math.

    Yes, they will rematch.

I love that Manny continues to say Margarito was one of the hardest punchers he ever fought, therefore legitimizing the Margarito KO of Cotto.

FTW Margarito was a Beast, and he whipped Cotta's ass fair and square :deal
