Yeah never mind. If you call that fighting, call it. Pointless really.

I don't expect anyone to take the punishment Gatti took for six rounds, I think ultimately also, you had the difference in that Floyd knew with the right hand stance of Gatti, he could see the punches coming and felt he could be a lot more aggressive in the ring.

I'm disappointed Manny didn't press the issue more, considering it was his only chance, but I wouldn't expect anyone to come out and take the sort of punishment that Gatti absorbed in that fight.

Boxing today consists of skipping around, hugs, and pillow fighting. It's like a teenage girl's sleepover.

There are still fighters out there. They all have romantic, macho ideas about boxing, and they are all dinosaurs with an incorrect set of assumptions.

The public don't want real combat. They prove this by consistently paying huge amounts to watch these sleepovers.

Those participants that adopt the sleepover style tend to have longer, more lucrative careers. The judges rewards appear to increase as the level of physical exertion and/or punishment decrease.

The lesson for young fighters must be this: if you want to have a shortened career on the undercard, be a fighter. If you want have a long career and get invited to the sleepovers, learn how to skip, hug and pillow fight.

Floyd out worked and landed almost twice as many as Pacquiao. If he clinched and ran all night it's that's impressive.

What Floyd did was what he does best, he controlled the distance with his jab and movement. He kept Pacquiao at bay with counters and the jab, he also neutralize anything Pacquiao had by moving or clinching. Also in the process out working and landing at 2 to 1 ratio. Give the man credit where credit is due, he took Pacquiao to school. Pacquiao had no answers or plan b. He couldn't even admit he loss the fight, then the excuses came in. Least he could do is admit he lost, he can tell himself it was his shoulder. Mayweather > any version of Pacquiao.

Can anyone think of a more one-sided fight between #1 and #2 in boxing history? Yet Mr Tyson isnt impressed. He's in the 1% right now.

Who cares what Mike thinks. The fighter he was going for lost. Of course he's going to have something negative to say. We could say the same about him when he fought Lewis. He didn't have much fight in him after the first round.

    is beyond me.

Besides, if Floyd did the fighting, how do you 2 immediately sense the irony? Because you know its not true.

While making himself look ordinary at the same time. Neither of them deserve the money that they just conned the public out of. Biggest scam job ever......

To be honest I don't think I'd have been able to keep it together either after hearing pacman say he thought he had won that fight.

I lost a lot of respect for manny in that inteeview. Not only did he say he thought he won but he refused to give credit for anything. I've seen fights where a fighter said that he thought he won but acknowledged that some aspect of his opponents game troubled him. **** manny even said that Floyd isn't bigger than him, that just basic ****ing math You measure them and one guys numbers are higher in every way

Floyd wanted no part of manny in a slugfest. Look at what happened in the 2 or 3 exchanges they had. Floyd got caught and had to go into survival mode on the ropes.

Did they just merge the threads into one? Whys that? There are no significant fights for a week. What are you guys using the front page space for its so important to consist of diverse topics and not just the biggest fight of the year? I find this utterly pointless.
