Go look at the 4th round if you want to see real skill.

    Yes, it will be 20-80.
But who else have they got ?

I can't see guys like Khan and Thurman drawing much attention.

Even if only 30% of the original PPV customers for this fight return for a rematch, that's still a Super Fight, and 80% of that revenue is pretty f**king good.

Cautious style, not possessing big punch power?

People forget JMM has a high career KO percentage.

    Simple enough really.

Malignaggi said it perfectly.. If Pac was going to the fight with an injured shoulder why were his team going into the fight saying he was punching harder than before and to expect a knockout, on many occassions even this week.

Of course you need to keep a poker face but don't overdo it to the point where you know you're going to let everyone down.

I think the excuse is complete BS, Pac should get as much villification as David Haye's toe and Tyson's broken back.

pac tried his damnest best in diminished capacity. but still won in my book. he won all exchanges.

vegas happily scored floyds pitty pat punches.

All I keep seeing from Pacquiao was smiles all the time and the Godly Talk and all I saw from Mayweather was hard work and a serious attitude. I know which one I would favour and did favour. Reminds me of Tyson and Lewis where Lewis is training hard and comes in very god condition and Tyson's missing training sessions and comes in bad condition and gets smashed up.

youre supposed to mask your true state or your true intent or game plan.

floyd is the bigger, stronger, faster that will ko pac. did you see him try?

you cant be hinting youre in diminish capacity, youll turn the fans off.

No Pacquiao ruined it. Floyd did what Floyd does and Pacquiao wasn't good enough to get Floyd to fight. I blame Pacquiao, the loser, not Mayweather, the winner.

I'm not really a fan of either or boxers in general, I just enjoy seeing a good fight.

I don't personally think Mayweathers style should be celebrated or encouraged in boxing. Try watching a fight with 2 people fighting in Mayweathers style, it makes for the most boring fight you could ever imagine watching, 2 men slipping and moving halfway across the ring anytime punches are thrown. It's boxing, but it's not what anyone wants to see.

UFC is only getting bigger, because aggression is rewarded and encouraged, It's only getting bigger because boxing wants to celebrate boring defensive fighters. It really says a lot when in front of your home crowd in the 'biggest fight of the century' you are booed and jeered in victory.

Mayweather won the fight, no question about it. It was however a terrible showcase for boxing,

Marquez is more of a puncher. I don't mean Marquez punches harder, what I mean is Marquez is not as good as Mayweather but takes more risks, that's why Marquez has wars and Mayweather doesn't.

this is definitely looking like selling a rematch to me. We all might find it ridiculous. I see a lot of casual fans running with these excuses and thinking it was a very close fight. A bunch even thinks Pac won the fight. The rematch will happen. Might not be as lucrative as the first one. But should at least do 1.5-2 mill buys.
