That is what I find rather unpalatable about the whole "Manny was injured" saga.

If he was carrying such an injury, and decided to fight on anyway (how the hell did he get medically approved to fight??) then Camp Pacquiao knew prior to the fight that Manny was almost certain to lose (you cannot beat Mayweather with only one good arm ffs).

It's like buying a second hand car after being told that it is in perfect working order, only to have it break down after a couple of miles!! Imagine going back to the guy who sold you it and having him tell you "Well, yes, I knew it would break down, but I sold it to you anyway!! And I'm not going to give you any of your money back!! BUT.. I do have another car that you can buy!!!"

Floyd exposed Manny as a cheat. Manny did absolutely NOTHING because he was tested. He won two rounds. That was the worst disparity in skill between #1 and #2 P4P in the history of boxing.

This is from Dashon Johnson, the UFC guy. He said that the injury was legit and that he and other sparring partners were sent home weeks before the fight.

    Basically, yes.

Scar mate, you've been a boxing fan more than long enough to know that a rematch can only take place if Floyd acknowledges that Manny was injured.

So it is Floyd's ego (such an admission basically means that Floyd has to admit that an injured Pacquiao still managed to win 3-4 rounds decisively, which ruins a dominant performance) versus his bank balance (as you rightly say, there is no other fight out there that comes close to matching the potential revenue of a rematch).

I agree that the fight was better than people seem to think, it was an interesting encounter, no one willing to give an inch in a strategic sense rather that all out aggression. Its the hype that has made people react like this, anything hyped to that extent is not going to live up to it. Less exciting but still interesting.

I think Pac should be content with how he dealt with it rather than making the excuses, he could have attacked more often I guess but he is a bit over his prime and maybe didn't have the energy, so he did it in bursts and showed he had the reflexes to avoid a beating. He came out ok considering.

The guy could be telling the truth.. Or he could have been paid to say this.

My take on it is this: If Johnson and other sparring partners were sent home weeks prior to one of the biggest fights in history, because one of the fighters (who they were sparring with) was so injured that he couldn't spar, how come no mention of it was made prior to the fight taking place?

Were it true, a LOT of people (would) have known about the injury by fight night. And in todays world, such a secret would be almost impossible to keep.

LMFAO that only shows manny missing 81% and hitting air. The sound clip doesn't even help, it cements the fact your trying to force an agenda. HORRIBAD.
