    The UFC is a mess right now lol. Product has been stale for years now, a few good fights at most a year now. Get out of here dude.

    Boxing is to saturated with businessmen fighters and that will never go away.The rankings are non existent.The fighters can pick from the hat who they want to fight with no governing body over seeing guidelines for fairness. Imagine any other sport where a team can just make up rules to put itself in an advantage position and avoid what ever team it chooses.

    I'll go as far to say that Boxing isn't a sport; It's entertainment pure and simple.



    Ufc is actively putting out shows every weekend and hasn't yet been legalized in Ny City yet.When that happens,it will be the final nail for boxing..When has there ever been a female fighter in boxing as big as Ronda?

    You know NCAA doesn't pay there athletes? We are talking about pro here; I don't even watch College "sports".

    Women fighting is junk and all real fight fans now it, get out of here with that ****... In the last 6 months the UFC has had several of it's biggest stars involved in with career damaging(possibly ending) scandals, big steroid controversy, injuries constantly marring and ruining PPV events, forced chick fights and so on. It's a mess right now, anyone who follows both sports actively and isn't a biased in favor of the other will clearly tell you that boxing is in better shape at the moment. That hasn't always been the case, but right now boxing is in great shape and the UFC is in shambles. The UFC is doing a great job at killing at once exciting, and interesting thing with MMA with their increasingly boring and stale product, any long time MMA fan will tell you that things aren't exactly great right now.

    Ronda is an Olympian and uses world class judo technique.I would not classify that as junk.In case you haven't seen her last fight I'd recommend you see that sweet move she pulled.

    See this is where you are wrong.In the UFC when a fighter does something wrong like steroids or unlawful activity.That is a fault that lies on the fighter ; not the sport of mma/ufc.Ufc regulates and discourages cheaters and dodgers .In boxing the prisoners are running the asylum.There really is no governing body with a golden mallet forbidding Floyd Mayweather from dictating how a fight will go and how big a glove should be etc.

    In mma it's fair game for everyone.You have 3 round 5 min fights and main events are 5 5 mins fights; it never changes regardless of organization.Boxing 4 round ,6 round, 8 round ,12 round fights depending on promotion.

    Again like I said about New york and the possible Olympics introducing mma will be the nail that puts Pugilism in it's grave,and rightly so .The boxers already put the once sport into it's coffin,mma will close the casket.

    The UFC is a dying sport that is on its last legs

    The old guard of Liddell, Ortiz and Couture are long gone

    Their reality show is a joke

    Their PPV numbers have been plummeting for years

    GSP retired

    Lesnar retired

    Silva is done

    The MW and HW champs can't stay off of the operating table

    The now former LHW champ is a roid abusing cokehead who is currently facing serious jailtime


    The fact that a 135 pound women is their #1 star just says all you need to know where the UFC and MMA are right now.

    Agreed. But let's not be too hasty, as the same can be said for Boxing.

    There will be NOBODY doing Floyd's numbers for at least 5 years to come.

    On top of that, the big guns are on their way out as well.

    Floyd
    Manny
    Cotto
    Hopkins
    Wladimir
    Froch

    And the newer 'stars' are hype jobs (Broner etc).

    People rave about Terrence Crawford being the next star, but he won't be PPV material at all.

    One thing the UFC does better than Boxing is actually make the best fight the best. There has never been a Manny/May situation in the UFC because it's nonsense (although the UFC do rinse out their rematches too quickly and too often).

    Take away Manny & Floyd - Who is doing big PPV numbers? Who is the next big star?

    Bud? Nah.
    Canelo? Dude has nearly 50 fights!
    Kovalev? He can't get the most meaningful fight out there for him.
    Golovkin? Nobody will fight him.
    Ward? He's on the slide.
    A Cruiser-Weight? Nah, nobody cares about them.

    The funny thing is Ronda Rousey is more famous than 99%(and that's being nice) of your boxing up incomers and other long time stars .Let that sink in your head.

    I already refuted this.The ufc has more stars coming like Conor Mcgregor whose enormous in Ireland.The ufc will always have an endless supply of great fighters to come about because new stars are born every few months because unlike boxing they don't have to fight 25+ tomato cans for ten years to reach fame; nor do they fight twice a year.
