He just outpointed Pacquiao. That's all. Nothing more.
You tell me what clear and hard punches he landed the whole night ? Not necessarly punches that hurt Manny but at least punches that shaked him a little bit.

    I know that:
    - Algieri landed some really hard right hands on Pacquiao.
    - Bradley made Pacquiao litteraly fly in their second fight
    - Marquez...:hey
    - Margarito made him **** blood.
    - Cotto landed lots of hard shots in the first 4 rounds of that fight

    What Floyd did ?

I know one good punch he landed, a right counter uppercut in the 11th round. What else ?

Pacquiao didn't do much as well, I agree, but we know he landed two great counter left hands in the 4th and 6th round that hurt Floyd. Still better than Floyd in this department.

Pac is 8th best on Floyd's opponents. Kind of disgraceful for supposedly #2 fighter in the world.

Pacquiao lost as soon as he decided to fight mayweather's fight.

It was a schooling. Pacquiao looked lost and frustrated. Manny literally had "no clue what to do" in that ring with Floyd.

From a mental aspect: Manny was absolutely taken to boxing school.

Mildly schooled, or very decisively imo.

Yes it does. Floyd made the #2 fighter in the be the #8 fighter on his list. That's disgraceful. It was a schooling in boxing any way you look at it. A huge mismatch. Look at the names, guys pac clowns were calling bums before the fight. Guys they claimed were C level. Guerrero, Maidana, Judah, Canelo ...

Scorring light punches is schooling ?? That's boxing you like ?
I don't care if he run, hug or play dirty. Just score some clear and hard punches once in a while, will you ? That's the essence of boxing.

No, it's not schooling..it's outpoiting your opponent.
Floyd didn't have more than 1 significant punch in the whole fight.

abysmal performance from both guys. Floyd won because Floyd understands range very well and always made Pac lunge to land, so he couldn't throw combinations. Pac didn't have urgency, Floyd didn't throw more than enough to barely win rounds on accuracy and "ring generalship" - abysmal performance in which Floyd should have lost a few rounds due to excessive holding and limiting engagement and Pac just stared at him.

However, Pac's defense was better than anticipated. Every clean shot Pac landed, of which there were maybe three, visibly shook Floyd - terrible fight, but Pac's defense was better than expected - Floyd had very little penetration on his shots and won it all on footwork. (ie staying in range for his punches but just far enough so Pac always had to lunge in and couldn't pivot to the outside.) Floyd picked off shots when he was right in Floyd's range very well, preventing him from throwing combos.

Floyd justly won by maintaining ring control and limiting contact, but judges really do award negativity in the modern sport.

Light punches? Sure. Why didn't Manny go for it then? Exactly, because you're cashing checks with Manny's chin. Clearly Manny didn't feel those punches were light.

I got news for you: Manny Pacquiao folded like a lawn chair. All the guys who brought the fight to Floyd were willing to take the punishment required to do so. Floyd is accurate. He WILL hit you as you come in. Manny was unwilling to take that punishment and was gun shy from the right hand all night. Either Mayweather "punches light" and Manny has glass for a chin, or Mayweather has more pop than you claimed and Manny wasn't willing to take the risks.

Mayweather even taunted him several times in the bout to keep coming. Manny tried to out-box the master boxer instead. Dude was gun shy and scared of that right hand. It was obvious.

Fact is: Manny was behind on the cards, clearly behind. It's up to the fighter who is behind to "take the risks and make a fight out of it." Not the guy who is EASILY out-boxing his opponent.

Manny and his whole "warrior mantra" got proven to be a complete fraud. Ricky Hatton brought the fight to Mayweather far more than Manny Pacquiao did. That's a fact.

Another post proving you an absolute idiot. Ever heard of "styles make fights"?. Remember how Ali looked against Frazier and how Frazier(who was "supposedly" the #1 fighter in the world) looked against Foreman?. How about Norton?.

No he schooled him. It's difficult to find more than two clear rounds to give to Manny. Manny's deficiencies were glaring and put on full display. And the trainer of the year could provide no advice to change the outcome. That is a schooling.
