Yes and I remember Floyd's style schooling Pac. What does Frazier have to do with it. How about Sosa and Baldomir :rofl We are talking Mayweather v Pacquiao right?

I still have the idea that any hard puncher who can land six shots on Floyd in a row will scramble his brains ...

Throwing jabs and light punches is schooling ?....Why don't you start watching amateurs if this is the case.

Ask my question. What hard and clear punches Mayweather landed the whole fight ?

I think he was more worried about the cuffing left hook that Floyd would often use to pull on him.

So sick of these excuses - what happened, happened.

I respect and admire Pacquiao but Floyd made him look like a lost filipino child in that ring.

How many fighters have done that to the "Filipino slugger"?

And to answer your question, Floyd landed several sharp right hands in round number 1 that promptly dissuaded Pacquiao from adopting his usual high enery pendulum step.

It was the range. He missed or had to lunge everytime and couldn't reach, knowing he would be WAY of balance every single time. Floyd kept the range perfectly - it wasn't Floyd's power, but manny knew he would run into the shots and make them harder if he was overly aggressive. Floyd's spacing was perfect: he could land pitty pats, occasionally a few hard shots, and Pac would miss everything wildly.

Floyd completely shut him down. When was the last time you saw Pacquiao throw only 429 and land only 81? :huh

Pacquiao did far too little and at a horrific percentage to stand a chance. It wasn't a close fight. Period.

That's called a "schooling." Floyd put Manny in a difficult position: Get out boxed, or go for broke. Manny chose to fold.

Manny was unwilling to take the risks necessary to make a fight out of it. He was content with going the distance and collecting his check while minimizing the punishment he took. So people can spare me the "Pac is a warrior" nonsense, because that ship has sailed now

These clowns think Floyd landed nothing. Two big rights in the FIRST ROUND decided that fight. Pac became more gun shy and had a worse performance than Canelo thereafter. Pac and Roach's game plan out the window.

Because he knew if he didn't take risks it would be a low damage night ... Floyd's offense is **** if the other guy doesn't open up.

"Neither of us will get hurt ... okay ..."

I'm not questioning Floyd's victory and 90% of what you said is correct but I disagree with your definition of "schooling". Shouldn't boxing be about landing "clear and hard punches"? Floyd failed to do that. Sorry. Not schooling in my mind. He landed sharp punches on every oppponent he faced so far. Not on Manny though.

Exactly. Pacquiao folded and collected his check. That's called being "content with taking a loss." Horrible. I never want to hear about Manny Pacquiao's warrior spirit again. Ever.

People need to stop blaming Floyd and ask why their hero didn't go for broke when he was clearly losing.

The clear and hard punches were landed by Floyd the majority of the fight. Infrequent? Sure...the fight was a chess match, not a war, but certainly landed more often than Manny.

    Clean Punching? Floyd
    Effective Aggression? Floyd
    Defense? Floyd
    Ring Generalship? Floyd

Can you honestly say Pac won a single category of the scoring criteria? Nope.

Canelo was so much worse than Pac. The few flurries Pac threw looked like they actually bothered Floyd. Canelo had ZERO moments in his fight with Floyd, not even close to buzzing or discomforting or even making Floyd shell up, he just blocked everything and hit Canelo whenever he wanted. Canelo got hit more, never bothered Floyd with his offense, and was completely ineffective.

Pac didn't want to get KTFO. Everyone said Pac would take it to Floyd, volume panches come in at angles. He did none of that. If Pac would have been aggressive like Hatton he would have gotten JMMed. Floyd countered Pac too well IMHO.
