If we are all being honest, they are BOTH to blame. They both did the bare minimum only to make the most ever amount of money

Yeah you can also see how a 2009 Mayweather would have employed the exact same strategy but better and unless Pacquiao had a different gameplan, he would have been dealt with and possibly stopped. I didn't see anything in Pacquiao last night that would have done anything against Mayweather if he didn't know how to take the distance back, cut off the ring and get past Floyd's reflexes, he needed to use his wild strength but that opens the possibility of being dropped hard. This would happen in 2009 too, regardless of Marquez.

The Marquez KO was on his mind there's no question after the two hard counters in round 1. You should be talking about how that knock out effected his performance here and making a case for why he may have troubled Floyd without experiencing that. He would most likely have been dropped back then, maybe stopped. Floyd is as fast as him, he is a perfect counter puncher and Manny showed he has not got the knowledge or size to find a way around him.

If Floyd beat 2009 Pacquiao you know you'd say 'a more experienced Pacquiao would've destroyed floyd'.

He had an MRI that showed the injury. He tried to get a shot BEFORE the fight and floyds vegas commission said no.

    Pac was cheated.

Haters & fakers still have a beef
cause Mayweather last Saturday showed them his teeth
The clinch that was key in cutting Manny down
was followed by bodyshots that made Pac****s frown

    That Mayweather, that wifebeater
    we hate him so much
    him punking our heroes
    We've just had enough

But greatness comes from all the dues paid
And that's the reason for Money's HeyDay !

'I made the decision not to allow [the shot] because of the timing of the request and the fact that the fight was going to occur in the next 90 minutes. We were not aware of his injury until tonight at 6:30,'' said Aguilar. ''The medications he was taking were disclosed on his medical questionnaire, but not the actual injury. ... This isn't our first fight. This is our business. There is a process, and when you try to screw with the process, it's not going to work for you.''

Translation: Manny wanted to shoot up with drugs 90 minutes before the fight. How pathetic is it going into the boxing ring taking drugs? Seems all too convenient of an excuse to get a chemical edge.

Look at guys like Pryor and Frazier, they were unrelenting. Pacquiao was fine getting outboxed.

So he wouldn't feel any pain. So he could walk through Floyd's punches like he did everyone else's.
