Pacquiao stopped watching replay of fight after fourth round

He couldn't postpone even if he wanted to. He bought a freaking 15 million dollar mansion before earning the money to pay for it...... I hope he changes his way of spending because it won't end up good for him if he keeps this up

 

Agreed, this guy is advertised and idealized like he's divine. However, it was Floyd who showed respect and gave him credit, so, for me, Floyd Mayweather was not only better inside the ring that night, but outside the ring as well.

 

Pac****s stay making excuses. Weren't you clowns talking about no excuses before the fight?

 

Who could blame him, he wasn't himself at all in there. From the opening bell. Not a fan of the lack of class he's shown post fight, imagine had floyd lost and behaved the same way.

 

I heard he strained his thumb because he kept rewinding round 4 and playing over and over again.
Pacquiao and Roach watched round 4 twelve times and have now scored the fight 120-108 Pacquiao.

 

Pacquiao never felt comfortable in that ring. His mind is forcing him to adopt these excuses to prevent cognitive discomfort; how does it feel to steamroll people with superior natural ability and then look amateurish to another talent?

The difference we saw was a genetic freak with great boxing skills and a genetic freak with 'good' boxing skills

 

Mayweather fought his usual fight. Paquiao lost. I don't want a rematch, it's not derserved. Even injury free it wasn't close enough to justify it.

Give Mayweather his due and move on. He goes down as the best fighter of his generation, second only to Roy Jones.

Then they edited in the weigh-in video with Pac raising his, ahem torn shoulder, arms in the air. The crowd cheered.

If Mayweather were to say he injured his shoulder after Pac won this last Saturday instead of Floyd winning, what would you all be saying?

They would literally crucify him for saying it. Floyd would never live it down and the headlines would all be about Floyd making excuses.

Floyd won. Convincingly. Deal with it people.

 

This reminds me of Paul Williams saying he didn't watch the video of the Maravilla knock out as there was nothing he could learn from it, absurd. Pacquiao here though is relegating everything to 'my shoulder wasn't 100% therefore I'll channel my confusion and disappointment at being swept aside into that'. He said god will deliver him into my hands, well what did he do about your shoulder? It's your fault you expected him to swing and let you punch him in the mouth easily. I'm sure the shoulder factored in but nothing he did would have ever troubled Mayweather, who is not a 100% optimum condition robot himself.

 

Well, I would rather the fight was postponed, than for Manny (or Floyd) to come into the ring less than 100% at their best, as advertised for "the fight of the century."

I believe Manny WAS impaired, with a shoulder injury, and that it DID affect his performance in the fight.

Unfortunately, this information was withheld from me before I paid almost $100.00 to see the fight on PPV.:-(

Why laugh buffy?? If this is true Pacquaio was sabotaged. Floyd uses Xylocaine injections in his hands before fights we all know that why was Manny granted use before the fight but denied fight night. I rewatched the fight several times & actually saw Floyd yanking on Manny's arm in clinches. Also two or 3 times Kenny Bayless had to bodily drag Floyd from holding Manny.
Floyd got the decision but was booed and jeered by his homies all fight long. Why?? A so called superstar fighting before his hometown fans shouldn't be getting booed.
This needs an inquiry & if the charge that the Commission granted use of painkillers then reversed the decision & banned them while allowing Floyd to use Xylocaine as usual is disgusting . BUT nothing short of what I expected from Vegas/Floyd
