No way Mayweather would make that kind of money in a rematch, even if Pac doesn't take a cut. The bloom is off this matchup. Extreme Pac fans want to see a rematch and are willing to pay for it but I would only watch it if it came on HBO or Showtime. A rematch wouldn't make one quarter of the money that the past fight made.

he is making 200 mill for this fight 4 mill plus ppv

in the rematch it would at the very least make 3 mill buys if they sell it right he can easily make 150

that's stupid mayweather and pac have huge fan bases and if they sell the rematch well it will make 3 mill for sure

Not a chance a rematch would generate that kind of money.

You are crazy if you think that a rematch would do 3 million. The Floyd/Oscar fight only did 2.4 million. Less than half of the people that paid for this past fight would pay for a rematch. I would be willing to ban bet you on that but you don't keep your word.

There's nothing else... Fight was competitive enough, make it happen. Nobody want's to see Floyd/Khan, or Thurman. Pac is way better than either guy.

they can sell it well with the shoulder issue and other things its all business

If it turns out USADA were aware 4 weeks prior to the fight that he had a rotator cuff injury then this is a rematch all day.

It will still be the same outcome but moneys money, and money is money.

2 million buys would still be way better than any other fight out there, tbh.

I think the rematch happens in 2016.

    1. It gives both fighters a chance (mainly Pac) to get another fight in and reaffirm their dominance.
    2. It gives Team Pac a bit more time to build the excuses and shout for the rematch while Floyd is in his "retirement"
    3. Floyd will be out of his Showtime contract and will have a much bigger stranglehold on the money and terms.

I can see Floyd moving off September and fighting Khan in December if he's impressive against Algieri. He was talking after the fight about not being as sharp because he hadn't fought in 8 months to Pac's 6, gives him a better timeframe for next May.
