    Exactly.

    I'm not sure. That's a definite possibility.
But I think he might fight someone else in September then "retire" for a few months, then make the "magic comeback" for a 50th fight against Pacquiao.
In the meantime, they'll get Pacman in there with someone he can easily beat, possibly two fights and some titles.

that's true but i'll say a few things i've already said

    1. Manny did produce a bit of a scare, due to his speed and awkwardness. He landed a hard left and made Floyd cover up, Floyd felt it. Maidana threw a lot more than Manny and never had such a moment.

    2. Manny is a much more accomplished fighter than Canelo or Cotto. If someone deserves a re-match, it's Manny.

    3. I think everyone knows Manny would attack much more in 2nd fight. If fight is made in Macao, China... it would be in Manny's home turf, so to speak. It would make things interesting

I think many fans were left disappointed, by Manny. Floyd disappointed with his performance but what should we have expected? This is his style. Manny was the one that had the burden of making the fight and his tactics were cautious aggression; probably a mistake.

Rematch only works if Pac puts his chin on the line and decides to go all out. I think the Marquez KO has made him doubt his ability to take punches (which is generally respectable) and this may have been one factor about his lack of activity vs Floyd.

No I do not think TR would approve of this. We have to remember they would get nowhere near the revenue they did this for this event. Also factor in the networks, and promotional companies have to joint venture again. Manny lost plain and simple. When Floyd tore his rotator cuff before he fought Castillo, he still won (some say he lost or a draw) but point is it was a highly competitive match. This fight was not competitive overall. Manny just doesn't have the skillset to beat Floyd. I honestly think Floyd would have badly beating Manny 5 years ago before his age started catching up with him.

Of course, easiest fight for the most money. Can't believe the TS would actually wanna watch it though...they should start treating Pactahrdism as an official disease.

what other fight would you want to see? Floyd makes a snoozefest against anyone.

Didn't Pacquiao produce the biggest scare than Maidana could in 2 fights? What did Canelo do? What did Gurerro do?

For a Floyd fan, you don't seem to understand your own fighter, he's boring. Explain why you would pay to watch him fight anyone else but not Pac? knowing that Pac would be a lot more aggressive in second fight.

Cotto is the only barely marketable, legacy-building fight left for Floyd.

The Pac fight came and went as everyone who didn't have their head in the sand expected it to. It would be the same again.

Mayweather v Maidana I was immeasurably closer than the Pac fight, so yes - of course he produced a far bigger scare.

    For "every time" see once.

And it was in an earlyish round. Mayweather feigning being truly hurt so Manny would open up and show him all his moves.
