A big effect lol. Before the fight you were claiming Floyd would crumble from the first left hand.

the rematch wouldn't sell as well, maybe half which would still be huge though. But Pac really disappointed, where was the ATG warrior that people came to love. I've never been a fan of him but thought he would present a totally different style from the stationary, lunge straight ahead one we saw.

I mean, where was this movement?

i think a rematvh would be worse just because the one to adapt would be mayweather. Mayweather has clearly won rematches against castillo and maidana where Manny fought Marquez 4 times and never figured him out

He also suggested the idea that he could fight "David Garcia."

Of course Floyd will rematch him. Easiest money he's ever made considering the size of the purse and the nature in which he made it; Floyd was in control the entire time.

Sure, that way Pac doesn't fight injured like he did.

I'm not a Floyd fan, and anyone I mention other than Pac you'll just reason away so that you can end up back at Pac. The fight went pretty much the way I expected it to...Pac did a little better than I thought actually so obviously I don't believe any shoulder had anything to do with it and you'd just be wasting your time trying to convince me. If you believe things would go differently because you believe he hurt his shoulder fine, that's your right, but I believe the rematch would go much worse for Pac and would be a total waste of time, money, and a worse of all, a complete waste of Floyd's last fight. Pac was and is still is just a limited brawler who was ridiculously overrated.

As a Floyd fan. Its ok for me to have a rematch. Same result. Easy work. But, a Cotto fight for the Mw title makes sense too.

Pac is not overrated. Pac beat himself in this fight with a ridiculous game plan and no plan b. And the fact is, before any punches were even thrown, Pac was not moving and instead standing right in front of floyd waiting for him. Since when does pac fight flat footed and stationary? He has amazing movement and did not even once try to use that footwork. and again, it was from the opening bell before even being hit! I knew in the first 5 seconds, seeing how pac was standing and not moving, that it was going to be a tough fight for him to win. And just go watch the Oscar fight as an example of his movement from the opening bell, it was very strange he did not use the main tactic he's used his entire career and was the reason he won his big fights.

^ He didn't use good footwork because he's shot and mentally isn't motivated any more. I like Manny but for the so called fight of the century he just didn't seem to want it enough.

    Why have a rematch?

It would be totally indistinguishable from running a tape of Saturday night.

Pac was somewhat overrated. I give him credit for beating Cotto but most of his fights above 140 were carefully selected. Mayweather was quick enough on his feet to keep Pac in front of him. The Oscar fight is a bad example because Oscar could barely climb through the ropes to get into the ring. How many good defensive boxers has Pac fought? Pac looks great against a certain type fighter and Arum and Roach knew it.
