Thats true. Why are we kidding ourselves? Sexy Sergio and Ward are among the best today, but neither really are in the same status as Hearns, Duran, Benitez, or Hagler are. They could be, but at the moment I dont think so. They were the best of the best. Pacman would be the only atg Floyd has ever faced. SRL faced 4 atgs with 3 in or close to their prime. Floyd needs to watch some SRL to know what he need to do. It aint rocket science just reluctance on his part.

A lara victory would mean MUCH MORE than a Canelo victory.

Sugar Ray Robinson had 173 wins. Henry Armstrong ahd 150. Roberto Duran had 103. Mohammed Ali 56.

PBF has a way to go.

He CANNOT do it without beating pacquiao & even at that he better hope pac looks outstanding vs Bradley or people will say pac is past prime - which will be floyds own fault tbh because he should have beat pac 2 years ago when the fight was at its highest in terms of interest.

Once he beats pac, we can continue this conversation, until then, please don`t insult the elite ATGs by naming floyd (or pacquiao) beside them.

He needs to KNOCK OUT Pacquiao, beat Martinez at a weight he's comfortable in (154) & take a 3 vacation, come back with no tune up fight & beat Canelo in his prime.

Beat Pac,Martinez,Ward and retire undefeated and he'll be in the run.

    But that wont happen.

He beat Cotto already, he just need to beat PAC and he is top 10 ATG.
He has chance to beat Martinez at 160 and that would give him somethings like top 3 - 5 ATG.
I don't think he has to go up to 168 and he definitely stands no chance in beating
anybody over there. I would guess unifying 147 or 154 with a couple more wins would do the trick.

I'm a huge Floyd fan but no way does he beat Martinez at 160lb's, Cotto straight right & left jab had Floyd's head rocking back, now Martinez comes in slightly heavier then Cotto with more power & slick south paw style, Floyd get's stopped late on.

One step closer to becoming the GOAT.

He beat Pac rather easily, and it's obvious he would have if they both were in their prime. Nobody can beat Mayweather.

Next: Amir Khan and then Gennady Golovkin.

Ending career undefeated at 50-0, beating Rocky Marciano's legendary record.

He needs to build a time machine and fight fighters at their most dangerous not wait years for them to slide and he's fought too many one dimensional slow plodders that everyone else would also beat and worse than floyd as has been proven.
